I wasn’t convinced of this design until I heard this talk recently; everything about it is intentional, the purpose of keeping the exclusive as transparent and public as possible. Not defaulting to the priviliged nature of theatres but designing one to be as inviting and open as possible. Everything is exposed, from the rooms to the rehearsals to the equipment and mechanics in the building. Truly outstanding.

The attention to zero-waste in this project is astounding. Most, if not all, the materials including the walls are made from products destined for landfill. They took them out and repurposed them into elements of architecture. A bit of insight into their process here.
