They stared at him. It was unbelievable to think that Momota could kill anyone, even if it is Ouma. Harukawa’s face softened at the sight of him, while Saihara looked relieved. He’s a lot more confident in himself, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t glad to know he was right. Still standing on the exisal, Momota studied their reactions. His eyes found Monokuma and before anyone coud react, he continued.

“Not only me, though.”

Confusion slipped on his classmates’ faces. Monokuma’s eyes narrowed, as much it’s possible for a robotic teddy bear. The Astronaut let his eyes fall to his side. He raised his hand in a fist. Suddenly a smaller fist came up to meet him. Bumping their fists together, Ouma appeared beside his partner. Smirking sharply, Ouma locked eyes with Monokuma, wearing Momota’s shirt.

Yup. Accurate. That’s just how their relationship be sometimes.

Ouma Kokichi from dangan ronpa V3 HATES pedos!!

Cliche as it is I’d have to go for the ‘tried to stop the mastermind trio’ of Kaede, Kokichi and Rantaro. They were the ones that actively tried to do something so they should have been rewarded for their efforts with their survival.

Kaede was done so dirty by canon, being used just for Saihara’s development so I think she deserves survival and in a lot of ‘Kaede lives AU’s’ like three point shot she’s reduced to Shuichi’s love interest. ITMLFY is the only fic that really does treat her with respect and Kaede needs to survive because she’s an amazing character and person not so that Shuichi doesn’t lose his girlfriend.

Rantaro has already participated in another killing game in V2 and sacrificed himself for his friends and him being stuck in danganronpa’s cycle means that if he was one of the ones to end it, it would be far more impactful than any other character because it would show him not making the same sacrifices and freeing himself from the people who tortured him for so long.
