Every time you walk into a room I have to remind my heart to beat again ,

My lungs get amnesia and I forget how to breath and I have to send search parties to find my words.

How can someone so beautiful be so broken.

1. I’m falling in love with you overwhelmingly, the way a tsunami hugs a sandcastle.

2. I’m falling in love with you quietly, hiding behind metaphors in poems you will never read.

3. You see, I see my tomorrow in you, but you can’t seeing yesterday in him, in so my hims

4. And I don’t know how much more of myself I can amputate for you to finally feel whole again

5. I don’t know how to be the architect of your happiness while you are the perpetrator of my pain

6. Falling in love with you is like falling in love with broken glass. The more I hold on to you, the deeper the cut, the more I bleed And damit I’m still learning how to stop bleeding for you and still call it love

7. You are an encyclopedia of brokenness, A cacophony of heartbreak

8. I have tried to help you use the broken pieces of your heart as building blocks to help you build a bridge to get over this pain but all your heart has ever been good at is breaking

9. I heard that in Japan there’s a technique called kintsugi, where they take broken objects and piece them together by filling the cracks with gold, from this I learnt that broken can still be beautiful,

10. From this I learnt that broken is not the end of the story.

a love she's never seen

But she said it's called

Faith

Not realizing a broken god

Can’t grant any prayers.

He called her

Angel

Blowing hot air

Under her wings

Forgetting that hot air

Rises,

And so his lies would be the

Stairway she uses to reach her own

Heaven.

He called Her

But she doesn’t answer

Anymore

He lost an angel

While entertaining

His demons

The loud music was muffled by the door and bottles lay spent on the bedroom floor as though they had had a long night, with their alcoholic odor feverishly running around in the air assaulting trained noses. Standing in the room he stared at her semi conscious body, to him it was a roadmap he intended to use to reach his desired destination. Crk crk, he climbs on the bed. With an aerial view, his hands explored every inch of her body. Her distant moans were his road signs, completely disregarding her stop signs, focused only on his pleasure sighs. She was Iraq and he was America, she was native land and he was colonialism.

He ransacked her land and took her one non renewable resource.

The next morning she woke in a state of civil war her mind refusing to believe the truth her body was telling her. Had her safe haven become her enemy's stronghold having broken through her walls and claimed the woman inside?

so when she asked me

What I thought about her

My tongue

became the paintbrush

And my vocabulary became the array of colours I used to paint every intricate detail of my thoughts of her,

by some Big Bang explosion

She is music composed of love notes I never sent

She is no Michelangelo,

no Da Vinci ,

no Picasso

She is masterpiece with hint of heaven ,

She's the only proof I need that God exists.

Were a hurricane of emotions

That told a story

her mind could never turn into matter

And her lips never had the vocabulary to utter

Her mouth

Was my favorite book

And her lips

Were the pages that I longed to part again and taste the adventures they hold

Were so beautiful they couldn’t possibly fit Lies description

Was a fairytale dressed in

Happy ever after

Till I realized I'd never really learnt how to swim so all I was doing was Sinking in lies and calling it love.

She saw the bruises he had got from beating himself up and the cuts he got from the tongue lashes he gave himself regularly.

You see, I want that I tell-my-momma-all-about-you kind of love that senseless kind of love, that even-at-your-worst-you-leave-me-breathless kind of love that take-you-home-to-meet-my-parents kind of love Forget the surface stuff, I want that deep kind love that penetrate your thoughts and leave you in a heap kind of love that no matter what happens you're for keeps kind of love that every time I see you my stomach turns into a New Years even skyline kind of love I want that you are my lifeline kinda love my hearts baseline kind of love that you are my finish line kind of love that no matter what happens I'll always be your sunshine kind of love that every time you walk into my arms you whisper "Honey I'm home" , kind of love I want, I want love
