Your local degeneracy architect

I tried something out, and added some of my own little postcard-sized prints to my shop!

There's a lot, so I thought I'd show them in smaller sets here based on theme. These ones are inks based on the paintings of Caspar David Freidrich (1774-1840).

these bills are about CENSORSHIP AND MASS SURVEILLANCE. “protecting the children” is a conservative smokescreen and by repeating that narrative, even in contradiction, you are reinforcing it. do not give these far right wingnuts an ounce of credibility. I know you know the words censorship and surveillance.

courtesy of past failures of legislation, it’s increasingly difficult to keep kids away from the dangerous parts of the internet, even in spaces that are supposed to be child safe. do not insult people for struggling to navigate the internet.

kids need opportunities to exist outside of their parents, and the internet is one of the last safe havens left in countries rotting under the weight of industrialization. children are already the most oppressed class in the world. do not encourage parents to invade their kids’ privacy.

again, and I cannot stress this enough, these bills are about CENSORSHIP AND MASS SURVEILLANCE. the goal of these laws is to allow governments to monitor and manipulate huge swathes of the human population. the goal of these laws is to weed out political dissenters and destroy access to information that contradicts propaganda. I do not believe it's a coincidence that this is happening now, in the wake of mass disillusionment with Israel.

"As your constituent, I urge you to reject and publicly oppose the STOP CSAM Act amendment, Amendment.3749, from being inserted into the NDAA.

This bill threatens security and free speech across the internet. Its broad terms and low standards will undermine digital security for all internet users by potentially making it a crime to offer an encryption service, because a service could "facilitate" the sharing of illegal child abuse material (CSAM)—even if there's no evidence that the company intended to do so. Not only that, it would expose intermediaries to civil lawsuits for merely hosting a platform where part of the illegal conduct occurred. This would result in companies censoring more and more user content and accounts without regard as to whether that content is in fact legal. Existing law already requires online service providers who have actual knowledge of “apparent” CSAM on their platforms to report that content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Please protect our security and free speech, and publicly oppose the STOP CSAM Act amendment to the NDAA."

Because every call, every email, everything that comes their way. 

they have to pay money to be able to host it, and they legally unable to ignore a single call!

Anything that increases the amount of calls they get is a nightmare for them, because they need to pay the call centers per taken, and they're not allowed to ignore any calls. Keep calling and they'll eventually cave. Copy and paste this everywhere. Spread the word."

Everytime you call them that is money out of their pockets! 

That is what we need to do if we want things to change! 

We need to leave, and then we call them over and over and over again. 

Show those trying to censor us all that you won't be censored, and will not be stopped. Switch to Monero if they de-bank you. Draw, write, sell, buy the things you want.

If a platform is being so deeply unacceptable (derogatory) that you are unhappy and it's affecting your life and you don't trust them anymore, show them by deleting you account. Don't show up there anymore. And if you have followers, do your best to take them with you to whatever alternative site you go to.

It'll be like taking a ship through a stormy sea searching for a permanent place to call home, but we have to stop being complacent.

We are like frogs being slowly boiled alive, you understand that? We have only started noticing because instead of taking it slow, they suddenly turned the heat up just enough for us to all notice and start panicking because we don't know how to get out of the boiling pot of water.

Make rebellion plans, and rebel in your own way. Try to support the people around you that are in worse shape than you, and hold the line. You can rebel without even leaving your room.

Leave platforms you no longer trust completely.

2. Make the art you want as if this isn't happening. Make, consume, and make it even more unacceptable (loving) than you normally would.

3. If you can, switch to Monero. It isn't difficult to do, and you can even accept payments from people without them having to change crypto currencies.

4. Buy closed-loop cards with cash. Closed-loop cards are cards that work only at the store you are buying things from, and are not related to Visa or Mastercard. You can also go to the bank and withdraw cash directly. Even if you only tried to lower the amount you give to Visa and Mastercard by trying to only pay bills with their cards, you with make an impact.

5. Talk to your representatives.

6. Call Visa and Mastercard's customer service centers.

7. For paying bills, find out if there is any way you can pay differently than Visa or Mastercard like ACH, American Express, checks, or some other idea we haven't found yet.

8. Make videos about the subject. I know we're not exactly thrilled with YouTube right now, but they are still the main place. We need to reach as many people as possible about this.

9. Share links to new start ups that are trying to be alternatives to the current awful platforms and payment processors and card companies we use.

10. Sign petitions for your country.

11. If any of this has done anything to harm your livelihood directly and you were de-banked, or you know someone who went to jail recently for thought crimes, find a lawyer. In fact, make it a class action.

12. Draw and commission characters wearing shirts and hats that draw attention to the cause, like promoting different payment methods, ways of using fiat currency without having to give Visa and Mastercard your money, alternative websites to watch videos... most effective method would be to draw and commission characters that are particularly popular, and use the exact same tags every time. Try to get as many people in on it as possible. "Boycott YouTube", "Boycott Visa and Mastercard" stuff like that.

You can do all of this from your room. You can do it from your phone. It doesn't have to be an in person protest. A lot of us artists make money from art because we're disabled, and can't attend physical protests, not to mention depending on your country or jurisdiction, protesting could be really unsafe for you right now, and it wouldn't be fair for me or anyone else to insist that a person who is happily married with kids and cute pets should go and protest in the streets when they could die, or they could lose their family.

We can make changes in our lives that make an impact. I know going completely away from Visa and Mastercard is hard, so don't feel bad if you can't fully do that. Even just making an effort to help matters. Even if all of us brought down how much we use our Visa and Mastercards 30%, that is still a very large amount of money they suddenly aren't getting. If we could hit their wallets even harder, that would be great, but I know that is a hard ask.

Our freedom of speech and expression is in danger, and they are using protecting kids as an excuse to silence people that speak out against the government.
