It was my first fully animated four legged walk cycle, and while it was difficult at times, I felt I made a lot of progress since my first animation here at school. So I’m glad.

Japanese retailer Felissimo has created a way to make our cats appear every bit as sweet as we know they are: by creating a cozy cat bed that looks like a plush fruit tart.

And they aren’t just for kitties. These plush pastries are the perfect size for small doggos as well.

But The Swim Reaper isn’t actually off duty.

“NZ is amaze! Heaps of mean beaches and swimming holes, and a long line of people willing to do dumb stuff. The perfect mix. Ha! Yeah, so I’m just hanging out all summer, waiting to reap some peeps. Swim dumb and I’ll be seeing you soon.”

The Swim Reaper’s endless beach holiday is an ongoing campaign created by the government of New Zealand in effort to promote water safety.

Water Safety New Zealand estimates that about 105 people die from drowning each year in the island nation, with 56 lives already claimed this year. The worst part? These deaths are totally preventable, and most of them tend to befall young males who swim drunk.

So be safe at the beach so that The Swim Reaper can spend more time sipping tropical drinks, playing volleyball, and creating these delightfully morbid getaway photos and videos for us to enjoy.

Behold the frothy creations of Taiwanese barista Chang Kuei Fang, the newest member of the Department of Caffeinated Creativity. Chang Keui Fang owns My Cofi in Taiwan where she prepares custom 3D coffee art that varies from creepy crawly cockroaches, spiders, and other creatures to incredibly kawaii pet portraits, wild animals, and pop culture characters.

The art take up to 15 minutes to create and Fang charges anywhere from $6.50 to $32 for one of her drinks -making them pretty pricey for a cup of coffee. But then again, it’s a small price to pay for a drinkable masterpiece.
