One! Just one! I demand you show me a single instance where she looked at another man like that!
Happy world Outlander day!

🎵 Put your head on my shoulder🎵
A shoutout to whoever it was that I saw online (can’t remember where) say that his shoulder is like an extension of her. But worded it much more poetically.
Honourable mention goes to him too.
I AM DYING.

I’m combining a few anons who asked for my take on the couples therapy bloopers.
Honestly? I was surprised. Not because of the chemistry, that’s always there. What surprised me was the level of intimacy, and how instinctively, quickly, and naturally they sank into it, when as far as we know they haven’t been touching like that in over a year and a half. Even stable couples who haven’t been physically close in a while usually have a second of hesitation, a beat of finding the rhythm again. Here, it looked like they didn’t miss a step.
And it wasn’t casual contact, either. Caitriona acted like it was the most natural thing in the world to press her thigh to his, to squeeze his knee (we’ll get back to that), to run her fingers through his hair, touch his cheek, hook her leg around him. And on his end, he was acting like her lips were the most fascinating thing he’s seen in the last year.
When it’s inside the sketch, you can still argue “fine,” they’re actors, they’re performing, it’s for the bit. But we’re talking about the bloopers. The out of character moments. The breaks. And even then they kept their faces close, kept hands on legs, kept that gentle thumb movement on his knee.
And the moment that, for me, told the whole story in two seconds was when they were reading the script and Caitriona, without even noticing, squeezed his knee in a way you can’t explain away as part of the sketch, not as “siblings,” and not even as “best friends.” Honestly, especially not as best friends. The casualness of it, and the fact that he didn’t flinch, didn’t shift, like it’s completely normal for them, said everything.
And then in promo we’re being sold “home,” loving spouses, Instagram stories. How many partners, even partners of actors, would be fine seeing their partner behave like this with their “best friend”? Especially when it’s just a comedy sketch, where boundaries could easily have been set if they wanted to.
It felt like we saw them in their natural environment, with a host they like and feel comfortable with, and “being themselves” seems to mean a level of ease and physical intimacy that doesn’t really make sense for friends. Everything else is the story they tell around it.
As always, spot on.
Brava!
Fan service, my foot.
Can we talk about this gif for a second?
They weren’t in character here. They were reading the lines from pages on the floor.
Credit to @sdreamersc82 for the gif ♥️
She owns his knees , sorry mummies 😂😂😂😂

🧠Funny How Selective Those Memories Are🧠
Surely I’m not the only one who feels those answers to the pathetic babysitting question sounded entirely scripted, pre-planned, carefully rehearsed and memorized.
. . . What strikes me most about this exchange is how meticulously constructed it sounds. S. immediately references the one indisputably documented occasion on which he looked after C.’s cat — immortalized, conveniently enough, in a Twitter post from 2018 ⤵️⤵️⤵️
. . . Because, apparently, the underlying premise here is that anything not preserved on social media simply never happened at all.
Thus, we are invited to accept that across all these years there was precisely one occasion on which S. took care of Eddie. One solitary, publicly archived event.
C., meanwhile, vaguely recalls receiving a photo of S. and Eddie lying in HIS bed watching something.
What is curious is the hierarchy of memory at work here. The ownership of the bed remains crystal clear, while the broader context grows strangely indistinct. C. only vaguely recalls S. and Eddie watching something together, and has completely forgotten that this coincided with the first marathon she ever ran — the same marathon after which she was photographed with the alleged 'love of her life' holding her in that peculiarly awkward manner somewhere between the wrist and the palm.
And yet the bed remains vividly categorized. I’m sorry, but this entire exchange carries the unmistakable cadence of a rehearsed narrative. Not merely remembered, but consciously maintained.
Facepalm. [21 May, 2026]
I think Sam and Cait have a scripted answer ready in anticipation of a question like this. They jumped right into Eddie mode with Maril parroting the nonsense, helping them tow the line. Notice how Maril and Cait both scoffed? As though it is the most preposterous notion in the world, that Sam would have anything to do with his bestie's child. Or that his single male bachelor status would make him an unsuitable candidate. Maril and Cait were so quick to shut it down, that they forgot that Sir change a lot is now an almost Step Daddy to a child. Not a good look, ridiculing a man who has a newly acquired 'step daughter' in relation to his ability to care for or want to care for a child. Oopsies. They forgot that Sam is now wearing the responsible family man hat. They can't keep their bullshit steady. Idiotic conduct by all.
Supplement to my post about the birthing pool, etc
@mummygolucky With just 5 seconds left remaining I was so excited and happy to hear Carolyn MacKenzie say: "Congratulations to the two of you. Until next time guys."
She didn't say "congratulations to you and the show or Season 6 of Outlander. She said "to the two of you"!
"Believe what you want"
💃🕺
Sam was beet red and squirming in his seat ready to brag about their baby boy but couldn’t. 🥹 Hopefully not much longer, Daddio!
Those interviewers were in on the baby news because there’s another interview with them and Sam only where a newborn is crying in background. 😏
Possibly my favorite interview of them because it’s just that revealing. There are so many nonverbal cues here in addition to everything they said. When the interviewer asks Sam about his biggest highlight of the past year, look at Caitriona, her face is very telling [use full screen mode]. She knows he can’t say a f-ing word. She bites her lip and then her eyes bore into his through the screen, face locked into place holding her breath waiting to hear and see his answer. Willing him with her glued expression not to slip. Then there is his mention of the birthing pool. Watch the video - he looks back and forth at Cait a couple of times, as if he’s checking in, making sure his joke admission is ok. At the end Caitriona calls the birth of her son an “amazing, life changing event” and you can see Sam is fit to burst with joy and does his best to contain his smile as his lips struggle to stay neutral. The entire interview Sam was beaming with pride. I’ve never seen him look happier than when Cait is talking about her pregnancy. 🫠
🛁Memory Check: The Water Tub Era🛁
Do you remember Sam proudly telling interviewers, after the birth of the Little Soul, that he was fully prepared for the birth, water tub and all?
Right. So here’s the thing… it actually looked more like this:
. . .
[and honestly, the time Caitríona needs to work out her age at the time of the birth - does that not strike you as a little odd?]

I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE REMEMBERS A POST WHERE SOMEONE REFERS TO A SPOTIFY LIST, WHICH IS THE ONE HE MAY BE REFERRING TO IN THE INTERVIEW.
As to the spotify playlist I have a very small archive: I don't remember who posted these but mega thanks.
J'étais prest: Birthing pool interview - Season 6 promo
This is their old interview everyone is talking about in relation with C's last one with Elle Magazine, where she mentions Little Soul's birth moment. I have found it - with priceless help, gracias a ti, siempre -and downloaded it:

It is a press day interview both of them did for The Morning Show (TMS) Canada. You know, that TV channel with the nice - but Mommie type - lady, I am sure all the veterans will recognize easily: Carolyn MacKenzie (isn't it ironic?).
You are welcome. You may say this is old news, but in this peculiar universe things like this always start to make sense with time.
Here is a transcript, especially for the Spanish Mafia's commodity 😘. The interesting part starts at 3:03 and lasts until 1:25 on the video timeline, and this is what I chose to transcript verbatim for you:
Carolyn MacKenzie: ' Well, in every season there are challenges. Uh, Caitriona, what would you say was the, one of the biggest challenges shooting this past season?'
C: ' God, we, we had quite a few... [S, interrupting: How many do you want?] Yeah. Um, you know, I think, well, we were shooting during the height of a lockdown. Um, so obviously we had a lot of, you know, the challenges of just what it's like to shoot a show and in COVID times. And, um, our production team worked really hard to make sure that we didn't have to compromise what our final product would be, that we didn't have to shoot in a way that wasn't, um, true to the nature of the expansiveness of what our show is normally. Um, but yeah, that was quite difficult. I think it's no secret that I was also, uh, getting larger by the day. Um, I was, I was pregnant this season. Um, and when you're running around, or trying to run around I should say, uh, shooting guns and, and, uh, trying to move agilely, um, it doesn't get that easy when you're about six months. So, uh, yeah. Right. It was ... But, you know, it was, it was great fun and everyone worked really hard to make sure it was a safe environment. '
S: ' Add to that the, you know, the, the, the middle of a Scottish winter, which is we don't normally shoot right the way through. So yeah, it was, they were pretty tough, so you did really well.'
Carolyn MacKenzie: ' Did everyone brush up on their first aid in case, you know, an emergency delivery?'
S: ' Um, I was ready. I was ready. I've had one of those little birthing pools, uh, by the side. You know?'
Ironically enough, AI transcribes it a bit differently. I chose the most reasonable version - but also the one with awful grammar:
Not being a native speaker, I won't venture speculating further. Make of this what you wish.
👏👊
There are impulsive people, and then there are them, accidentally interviewing their thoughts out loud. They have the impressive talent of turning one tiny comment into a full-blown wildfire, thanks to the internet being forever 🤣
