They partnered with prostasia, a so-called pro-pedophile "child advocacy" organization that employs a convicted pedophile and supports (CW CSA) the use of child modeled sex dolls. Prostasia also compares pedophiles to the LGBT community and wishes to loosen laws surrounding sexual depictions of children

Listen in the past the poor have had to improvise cheap food the rich never wanted as a means to survive. And over the many years of innovation made the food taste good until eventually the rich where like: “Oh hay you actually like that garbage? Why on earth would you like it?” Then they try it, love it, start buying it, and then drive the price up so much it becomes a luxury good.

They do this and its devastating, the food typically never becomes affordable again. It don’t matter how cheap the foo dis to produce, it doesn’t matter if there is almost no meat on the bone or its super difficult to eat and messy. Once the poor discover how to make some bit of cheap food taste good, the rich take it away via driving the price of it up.

THEY DID THIS TO RIBS.

Ribs were garage meat. Just look at them, there is hardly any meat on the bone, you have to eat them by hand usually, and they are messy. They where an undesirable cheap source of junk meat. But the poor being the poor made them taste good. (Because they don’t have much to choose from.) The rich discovered the meals the poor made with them and decided they liked ribs too. People discovered they could sell a few ribs to rich people and make way more money then selling lots of ribs to poor people and the price was driven up.

It was a cheap meat because no rich person looks at the dangly part of the neck of a cow and goes ‘ooh, that looks tasty!’.

But then Food Network started showcasing things like barbecued brisket.  Rich people started showing up at places that weren’t just Rib Crib to get their barbeque.  And the price of brisket went up.  A lot.

I regularly see it for over five dollars a pound in stores now.  And while yeah, that might not seem like a lot when you’re talking only a pound or two of meat, brisket is normally sold in ten to twenty pound sizes.  It’s become completely unaffordable to the people that made it delicious.

Sushi used to be really cheap, too, until it became ‘trendy’.  Guess why you’re now paying twelve dollars for your order of California rolls?  Because rich people discovered something that poor people had been eating for ages.

At the start of my employment, my boss showed me videos of people stealing, and we both had a chuckle about it. How silly they were! There was a camera overhead, and it’s not to watch the shoppers. See, we can’t actually stop shoplifters. They get away with it maybe nine out of ten times. But we, who are watched and tallied and witnessed? We are always caught.

At first it was hard to hold one hundred dollars bills. An amount I had never seen before. An amount that didn’t exist in my household. It’s normal now. Here is something that is not for me.

“What the hell, I’ll take another,” says the man, pondering our 200 dollar watches. What the hell. Total comes to 580 and not even a flinch in his face. I have been working for 11 hours today and made only 110 dollars. It will go to my rent. Today I work for free, it feels. When I get my check, I will have 35 dollars left for food and saving.

The six hundreds he hands me go into the cash register. For a moment, I imagine having money. Then I put it away, counting out his change.

I know for a fact we sell our products for double what they are worth. That I could be making commission. That they could hand me those 580 dollars and change my life and not even mark the difference in their checkbooks. He’s not the only sale they make today, but I am the reason they made it. He’s not the only one spending 600 dollars, but if I hadn’t spent two hours with him telling me about his life, he wouldn’t have spent any. I go home. I don’t own a watch.

I have watched and rewatched a video on how to make salmon four ways. My shopping list is always the same. Pasta. Rice. Tuna. If I can afford butter it was a good week. I dream of the world I will never walk in, where I can throw the best fish fillet in the cart with a shrug. I hold hundreds in my hand and look up at the camera. I put them under the cash drawer.

I go to work. I scrap together my savings. I eat my bowl of rice slowly. My manager takes a paid week off from work just for his birthday. He owns a yacht. 

I’ve been telling everyone I know for YEARS not to buy Blue Buffalo.

This is the short story:

A few years ago I took my sick cat, Ankh, to the vet. The vet and vet tech asked what I fed her. I told them Blue Buffalo. They looked like I had just told them I fed her razor blades and cyanide. They diagnosed her with pancreatitis and said that nearly all of the cats they’d been seeing lately with pancreatitis were being fed Blue Buffalo.  They gave her medicine and sent her home.  Two days later she had a seizure and died right in my arms. 

The day after she died Hannibal started displaying the same symptoms she had so I panicked hard and took him to the vet.  Got the same meds and the same diagnosis.  Luckily Hannibal survived.

I wish Ankh had survived. She was only ten and the best cat I’ve ever had. Literally the best and five years later I still cry when I think about her.

Completely unfit parents can get their children back like it’s nothing and this poor woman who loves her child and just wants him with her again cannot? How is this not human trafficking/kidnapping?

We celebrate christmas to give to those who we love, the celebrate a collect time were everyones energy is generally being forced over to the positive even if they're stressed.

I was allowed full access to any books, movies, and internet I wanted fully informed about our family beliefs and practices but I was given no supervision once I reached about 13 because my parents trusted me to stick to the rules or not as I felt and come to them if there was anything that I had questions about.

As long as I said where I was going, who I was with, and when I was going to be back and then phone if anything changed I was allowed to do pretty much as I pleased from 13 onward.

I moved back in with my parents after university and the first conversation we had was my dad telling me that if I felt like they were treating me like a child to please tell them because they had no intention of doing so.

in response, i went behind their backs and opened a new bank account, got a secret job, bought my own groceries, and used the wifi from the school across the street. they didn’t succeed in disciplining me. all they did was force me to distance myself from them.

Please understand that the digital age for the youth and parents of today is terrifying, as a parent I want 110% access to everything my kid is up to, into or involved in. Yall are a new area that parents literally DONT know what to do, or how to protect you and go on to strong to try and keep you safe without realizing they're fucking up their own relationship with you.

So yeah, they are destroying the biggest ecosystem that is the Amazon right now. And the world must know.

Witches of old didn't need labels to define their practice so why do we. I don't want a label I want to be free to take an interest in anything without feeling like I've lost my way.

As I've come across more and more videos on YouTube regarding witchcraft and different readings, in the suggested of every one I've clicked for myself, I see titles like "your problem is witches" or "sinning and witchcraft". Though I know people may not be completely comfortable with the culture and practices of witchcraft, the messages being put across in those videos are not the truth about and have the power to misinform others about witchcraft.

Most of the videos I watched centered mostly around the gospel of Christ and biblical verse regarding witchcraft. Those passages talk about witches being the flesh embodiments or vessels for the power of Satan and sin to be unleashed upon the world but this is not the case in the slightest for most of those that take part in the practice. Those that disregard the words of the witches involved, and still preach as though we are who they believe rather than who actually are and how we go about our magicks, have no right to assume things in this way.

Some witches are based under God and their belief in his glory, some worship other gods, some do worship the "evils of the world". But I can assure you, that every witch I have ever met does their practices for the good of others and themselves. They practice in good nature with love and a feeling of morality and goodness in their hearts.

The mindset that all witches are evil, that we are less than human and only tools of the devil, is outdated and unbelievably destructive. This mentality left undebated and ignored leads to genocide and tragedy the way we have seen it happen before. It will not come in torches and pitchforks, but instead picket signs and legislation until we are forced out of our practices and underground the way we had been for so long. Our culture has only recently resurfaced into the light of day and mainstream and we must use that light upon us to educate those who may be susceptible to the bigoted mentality that has also decided to come to light once again.
