I've seen people submit OCs, is it alright if I share a doll I'm working on? (I dont have a story to go with her, but I figure character design might count?)

She's a vampire and I'm still trying to figure out a name (and currently she is baldt because I want to custom make a wig with braids for her!)

Doll on the right is what she started out as for reference. There's a problem in the BJD (ball jointed doll) market where companies either don't make dark skinned dolls, or getting one with dark skin is actually more expensive. I usually dye fantasy/creature dolls where splotchiness and uneven dyeing is fine so I was a bit nervous she wouldn't look good, but aside from being a liiittle too red, I think she turned out alright!

(I'm not super content with the faceup so I may change it later. Her eyebrows arent twins, more like second cousins twice removed. I tried 💀) I'm most proud of her nose; I think she looks so much cuter than the teeny anime nose.

What sort of hairstyle do you think would look cute on her? :3 (I want to make so many wigs lol)

Now you know, if you ever see a really cute doll you like but it doesnt come in dark skin, we can fix that 👀

Cute!! You did a good job! Tbh, I'm biased, I want her to have a teeny weeny afro that's pink with cute lil curls. But that's because that's why MY head looks like right now 😭 @angelbabyspice look!

YESSSSSS I LOVE!!!!! Making an Afro wig is super easy if OP is near a beauty supply store that carries synthetic Afro hair you can cut and glue it to a wig cap made to fit your doll! :D
