We are paid at our current apartment until the end of this month and can’t afford another month. We have desperately been looking for affordable housing that will allow pets. As some of you know, my mom recently lost almost $1500 in a rental scam. Charges have been filed with the FBI but there is little hope of getting that money back since it was done by wire transfer.
There are a couple of places we have applications in for. If we get approved, we need to move fast. Deposits, first month rent, movers, neither of the places have window treatments, various expenses. Once moved, the rent is very affordable, it is the upfront expenses that are the problem. We have estimated $1000 as the initial shortfall.
Coming up soon, my mom will be alone. My sister Sarah and I would like to see her settled and safe. She’s had a lot of bad things happen to her the past several years. Thank you for all your support. We appreciate anything you can do to help.

Mitch McConnell only remains in his current position of majority leader of the senate if the republicans maintain their majority. If Warnock and Ossoff both win their races for Georgia’s two senate seats, the republicans will NO LONGER have the majority in the senate and thus Mitch McConnell loses his oh-so-exploited ability to stop bills from coming to the senate floor to be voted on. It’s not just about the individual support checks, either. The bills is also about extending unemployment and extending the freeze on evictions across the country as well. And McConnell will block it from being voted on for as long as he is in the position to do so, which he will retain unless Warnock and Ossoff win. If you can donate to either Warnock or Ossoff’s campaigns, PLEASE DO SO. Right now it looks like both of them have a genuine shot at winning their races, but neither is assured. There’s still time to help them both to a win. And a win for them WILL BE a win for us all.

I’m not seeing anything about this on social media. Certainly I don’t expect to see it covered by the mass media. This is truly something we need to fight back against. Even if you don’t have Comcast\Xfinity, please let your voice be heard.
Amidst a pandemic when we’re all trapped at home, when we’re working from home, schooling from home, and our only entertainment outlets are online, this is cruel and unacceptable. 1.2 terabytes might not be bad for an individual, but if you’re a household of 3 or more, this will be terrible for you.
