If someone ever tells you a certain song is important to them you should turn it up and lay on your bed and close your eyes and really listen to it even if its 10 minutes long because at the end you will know that person much better I think

spending like an hour doing chemical tests and dissections on a lichen using dichotomous keys and in the end im still back on inaturalist squinting at the images and squinting at the lichen and squinting at the images and squinting at the lichen saying, is this the same kind of skrunkly? idk i think it looks pretty similarly skrunkly.....but the color isnt right. but the wrinkles look pretty similar except for this one that grew in direct sunlight in a wet patch instead of in direct sunlight in a dry patch. and listen-- i cannot stress enough that the lichen does Not care. top ten guys who grow on a rock with no understanding of biological sorting systems. just sitting and collecting nutrients as the rainwater brings it.....if one is wrinkly one is wrinkly. you know?
