I love that one moment in the Terror where Fitzjames lights the Congreve rockets. Because it’s so easy to watch episode one and see him sitting in his pretty uniform around a dining table, epaulets shimmering, regaling everyone with the same tired story (much to Crozier’s annoyance) and to assume he’s over exaggerating.

I would like to think that Qifrey would approve of me looking up what ink/nibs Shirahama uses and buying them immediately, because dip pens are my thing. I have one tattooed. I drew my degree work with one. The only reason I don't use them as often as I'd like is frankly that I can't find one that's fine enough for the lines I want to draw 😔 you need the right tool after all

no hate but saying that a visual storytelling medium's quality is 70% determined by the written script, and that good cinematography is an extra bonus is a... take. the images make the story. this is what too many years of cinemasins and ending explained videos have done to the nation. we need film literacy so fucking bad what are you people TALKING about!!! the cinematography is the story!!!! without the cinematography there is no fucking movie!!!!! i'm gonna lose my mind!!!!!!!!!!
