the commodification of friendship is the most annoying thing to come out of the internet in ages. like actually i love to break this to you but you're supposed to help your friends move even if it's hard work. or stay up with them when they're sad even if you're gonna lose sleep. you're supposed to listen to their fears and sorrows even if it means your own mind takes on a little bit of that weight. that's how you know that you care. they will drive you to the airport and then you will make them soup when they're sick. you're supposed to make small sacrifices for them and they are supposed to do that for you. and there's actually gonna be rough patches for both of you where the balance will be uneven and you will still be friends and it will not be unhealthy and they will not be abusive. life is not meant to be an endless prioritization of our own comfort if it was we would literally never get anywhere ever. jesus.

Hello, this is for anyone trying to find out all about themselves.
Don't get upset because you haven't fully figured what you are. If a label doesn't fit or work, that's okay, you can try again. It's like with food, you may be okay with it at first, but not later. Go and explore different options, you'll find the right fitting label one day, that you enjoy.
Now, if you have the thought that you may have a disorder/mental illness, go to proper websites about what it is you think you may have. If it ends up describing how you feel and all, try talking to a professional about it.
Self advocate for yourself but donāt self diagnose. Thereās a difference between going to a psych and saying āI read these symptoms of this disorder and it matches me so letās exploreā and āI have this disorder so diagnose meā there are dozens of disorders out there with over lapping symptoms. For example bipolar, CPTSD, ADHD and Bipolar can and do have over lapping symptoms but when you examine them closely with a professional you can distinguish them. But you need a professional. Self advocate for yourself but be open to being wrong when a professional says something. And also I know people gets misdiagnosed like I did but what you need to do is seek a second opinion like I did then get the right diagnoses. Itās hard to diagnose disorders you canāt see or feel for yourself but that doesnāt mean psychs are bad and you shouldnāt trust them. Yes there are psychs that are bad at their job but most psychs are good. You also have to be open and honest with your psych tell them all your delusions fears and intrusive thoughts and trauma history thatās the only way they can diagnose.
