getting into reading again in like sophomore year of high school was the best thing i ever did bc i lowkey did it partially bc i wanted an excuse not to talk to people and to look busy at all times which may have stunted me socially (but i fixed this in college so it’s fine) bc im just soooo grateful to love reading again as much as i did as a kid . like i’ll go through periods when i don’t read for months but its fine bc its always there for me like coming home and it just makes me feel so good and fulfilled and like im living my life the way i want and need too. shoutout being 16 and hating your lifeeeeeee
