So I try to come back to dogblr and the first thing I see is this ignorant asshole harassing people who actually care about their dogs enough to do the research that shows dominance theory is abusive and ineffectual. Dog behaviorists worldwide have said using practices associated with dominance theory is likely to INCREASE aggressive behaviors because it's not training, it's just making your dog scared of you. Obviously mylittlemixpuppy is the bad owner here, but has been going around harassing actually good owners - so mylittlemixpuppy is not only a bad owner, but a bad person who has been attacking the good people on dogblr. It takes an especially terrible and cowardly person harass people anonymously. People like mylittlemixpuppy are the ones destroying the dogblr community and turning it into a shitshow of judgment, bullying, and harassment. @neo-andhis-6-meows, don't put any stock in what this ignorant little shit says to you. The only person doing anything wrong here is the bully sending cruel anonymous messages. I strongly encourage all of my followers to block mylittlemixpuppy. Dogblr would be better off without them.

freedom of speech doesn’t protect you from the social repercussion of your words, remember that next time you try using that as a justification to spew hate.

I’m right there with you. BC helped but the side effects were not worth it - one kind caused cognitive changes resulting in short-term memory loss, another caused extreme irritability, another caused me to bleed heavily for a month straight… Now that I’m no longer on the pill, my periods are worse than ever and the cramps are debilitating. No more dainty periods, just pain and blood everywhere always and changing tampons every hour for 5 to 8 days.

Indeed. Depo was the one that made me bleed heavily for an entire month. They said it was an unusual reaction (so of course I would have it). What works for some, or even most, won't work for everyone because hormones are really complicated and not even very well-understood.
