The weather was so amazingly beautiful today and since my sister accompanied us I had the chance to take some new photos. Yay for pretty photos in the snow!! <3

Doesn’t Bats look just totally cool in his new shoes? Thanks to them his feet don’t hurt anymore when it’s cold and snowy outside.

also can PRA be tested for?

yes and no. you can identify it if it turns up, but you can’t, at this point, be sure to identify a carrier. one mutation has been found and successfully linked to PRA in this breed, and there are tests available for that, but several PRA affected shelties do not have this mutation, so we know there is at least one more yet unidentified culprit.

the dog tied to Sparta’s pedigree (produced by a successful UK breeder, bit of a mess) was DNA tested as soon as his pre-stud eye screening came back, and oh happy day, the DNA test came back clear 🙃

ooh gotcha!! i've been asking people so many lens questions lately ahaha. i just got the 70-200mm yesterday and im dyinggg i love it so much

I want a newer model SO BAD like the 2.8f ones, omgggg, I LOVE THEM, but they typically cost more than my car. :’) :’) :’) So I’mma save up for one, not a Nikkor but one of the more generic brands, but at least the cheap-o one I got is working out pretty well for what I paid for it!
