Hello! I've been decent, and thank you for thinking of me first. Truth be told I wouldn't have as there are more popular people on here that I think are really fucking awesome. Angsty sad Charlie hcs coming up.
A constantly injured child, maybe had a black eye from sports, a fractured wrist from falling out of a tree, and scrapped knees from playing to hard.
This was one of the primary ways he found he could get his parents attention and was really the only time it seemed like they cared about him.
Though he is the flirtiest and most ladies man of the group, he's never actually dated someone.
His parents forgot to teach him how to ride a bike, Neil did at 11 years old.
Got left home alone for a week because his parents took a spontaneous trip to The Bahamas. Charlie had mentioned he had always wanted to go a few weeks before.
His 16th birthday was supposed to be a special one as his parents had promised him a car, they forgot his birthday entirely.
Developed a thicker skin in Middle school because the teasing he would do with others hurt him more than he let on.
His grandparents paid more attention to him then his actual parents, when they moved away when he was starting middle school he was the saddest he's ever been.
When Neil attempted, Charlie didn't cry until he told Todd. He felt angry with himself for even crying at all. He was the one that needed to keep it together.
When Todd got sick that night, he felt like Todd should hate him. He needed Todd to hate him.
When Neil finally left the hospital and joined the poets at school again, Charlie pushed as hard as he could even if he knew Neil would hate him for it, because he needed Neil to live more than he needed Neil to like him.
