The last few days have been quite busy and I didn't have the time or energy to continue working as I had planned. So, the only task I set myself today was to finish the book so I could start revisions and clean up my notes... I didn't quite manage but I'll manage the rest tomorrow 🪴

july 29th - 30th

97 (aprox) days until my exam! this weekend so far:

• reading and use of english (1h 30m aprox)

• writing (1h 15m aprox)

happy friday! i have the morning to myself so i did some studying after our conference with the consultants. it’s a good day out so i walked my dog, threw the trash, and did a video call with my mom.

now it’s almost 1pm and i’m just waiting and chilling before our afternoon reports + classes. i might workout later if i finished studying early for tomorrow’s exam.

The last few days I have shifted over to a study of language and deconstruction, I have finally finished my readings of Derrida as well. From there I moved to postcolonial theory, which is one of my huge special interests.

yeah i never understood why people drink energy drinks but it's the perfect afternoon boost for a hot day (it is so hot in germany rn)

does the caffeine work? idk but i can act like i'm i'm super motivated now!!

i will be so relieved when this huge exam is over and i can enjoy the summer

July 12th:

Officially a week out from the exam. I didn't get as much done as I planned as usual haha. I did two and a half hours of review and figured out my weakest area was area five which focused on integrated audits, attestation engagements, compliance and government audits which I find strange since felt confident while learning the material. But it is a lot of reports that are almost the same just slightly not, so I guess it does make a bit of sense. My best area was area three which focused on risk, evidence, and sampling. I also find this strange because I did not feel confident while learning this material haha. Tomorrow I'll do a few practice questions in area five and skim the book again for things I know I'm confused on and then take the next simulated exam. In my review today I found a couple of avoidable mistakes that I would have caught if I'd slowed down so this next simulated exam I'm going to focus on reading slowly and carefully.

Today's accounting topic: All control deficiencies need to be communicated to management in writing within 60 days of the report release date. While significant deficiencies and material weaknesses need to be communicated to management and those charged with governance in writing by the report release date.

i spent some time with the first draft of one of my 3 history essays, i did good work, and then i changed subjects to trigonometry, cause i know i can't do a proper history essay in one go.

so i studied chapter 2 on my math theory, and finished ex. 128-156 from my math book (on chapter 1).
