A papercraft memorial portrait of Cinder, a wonderfully sweet cat. Her most beloved pose was loafing with her legs tucked up underneath her, so that was the requested pose for the piece. I hope I did her cuteness justice!

School For Dragon Babies (1884) + Seminary For More Advanced Dragon Babies (1892)
by Sir Edward Burne-Jones
He's worried about stepping on flowers. He loves nature. - (ref)
The devastating difference between how much time it takes to write something vs how fast people read it lol
you're falling in the trap!! it will be read by many people, many times, and it will live on in their memories. and maybe no single other human will match you in time spent dedicated to your story, but as a collective we will outlast you. acts of creation only grow when they are shared
This. Writing is not like dinner. It can be consumed many times
you write it once so it can be read forever

Tell us a joke little guy!
my friend's puppy has baffling levels of attitude for someone who's only been around for a handful of months. he understands concepts like deceit and civil disobedience and other things i didn't fully grasp until well into my 20s. this guy doesn't even know the seasons loop yet. he's probably like okay spring. what's next. some other new bullshit i bet

lost media is awesome. the way lost media is found ranges from "it was found while looking at commercials on youtube" to "we found the fucking workprint for hoodwinked featuring the original lost audio in a thrift store for seventy five cents"
i wasn't exaggerating btw this genuinely happened
maybe i like my tech a little bit inconvenient
maybe i like pulling out my debit card instead of using apple pay. maybe i like untangling my wired headphones. maybe i like typing something into the search bar instead of using siri or whatever. maybe i like curating my own social media feeds over an algorithm. i just don’t think everything has to be perfectly streamlined and efficient i like it when things feel tethered to the real world.
Droodles by Roger Price (from his 1953 book). Droodles (a blend of “doodle”, “drawing”, “riddle”) are simple drawings with a witty, often absurd, caption. The first one, as some of you may know, was used by Frank Zappa for his 1982 album, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch. (Zappa, a fan of Price's work, lived just a few miles from the artist and personally sought permission to use the image.)
These come from the 1972 edition of the book.
Imagine your bike has been at the Wright Brother’s repair shop for weeks and you see Orville suddenly whiz over your head in a contraption
Hmmm i disagree with you but i could not possibly wade through the cranberry bog of my mind to verbalize why

Glasses-frames being sorted into men's and women's... It's just insane, how much gender there is everywhere.
