Airbrush-primed a bunch of models today. Alexia and the Risen, Blackbane's Ghost Raiders, most of the Revenant Crew of the Atramentous and a couple odds and ends... And a couple Age of Sigmar models for a friend, who wanted 'em in white for bright color schemes.
Started with the white, the old Vallejo white primer I have lying around, and... It was disastrous. Near-clogs instantly every time, and actual full clogs pretty quickly. I got a LITTLE white onto one of them.
The VMS black worked fine. Primed all the undead with few and minor clogs. Did the two AoS models in black, then went back and put a warm brown on them, to make autumnal schemes easy.
And then hours later noticed that Damian Sperling needs a bit more primer on 'im, from some angles... But whatever; I have plenty more models that need to be primed. He can just go in the next batch.
The early parts of the priming session really were horrible... I was starting to doubt everything, and it was uncomfortably hot out (and way too bright really!), and I just wondered if I would actually get anything done... But no, it was just the old white primer disagreeing with the airbrush.
Also I don't know when (sometime between the end of last session, and some early point in this one when I noticed) the needle's tip got bent... I did get it mostly bent back with pliers, but it's still not totally straight... I mean, it wasn't perfect before, but it might be a little more imperfect now! And it's hard to say whether it's actually bad-enough that it's a big issue and needs replacement, or if it's well within bounds of "can perform acceptably"...
