Anji's Fuujin is really well-designed. Being, yes, a reversal (strike invuln 1-12) but only hitting on frame 20, is a really interesting space. First off, like many interesting moves, it's clearly powerful and good at its job, but has plenty of counterplay; the opponent can just try to do meaty 2P > 2P or 2P > c.S and beat it easily.
And then its followups... It has enough of them, with enough different stuff they do, that it really is interesting, and it's not totally fake. It's not "just look for exactly followup X and kill Anji if he does it"; there's enough going on that the defender can't just blow up everything on reaction, but also each followup is really fair and you aren't getting schmixed with nothing you can do.
Rin and Force Break Rin (H and D followups) are a great pair; I like how it's not even about "reacting to block high" particularly, since even though FB Rin is much-faster the Force Break sound and graphic tell you to block high. No, FB Rin is there to counter hit you when you thought you were reacting to the early startup of regular Rin with a low! (Or to force you to block and let Anji be plus, since you know you don't have time to CH it with a low on reaction, or at least attempting to do so is extremely risky.)
The P followup that throws the fans is the kind of pressure-reset option that I like, where if you are really committed to holding downback to react to the other stuff, it can exploit you.
The K followup, the hop, is nice in the context of the rest. Just another little thing that would be fake on its own but there's enough different options so Anji should try to use it sometimes, and possibly get over your move with it.
Nagiha (the S followup) is also cool in being nominally unsafe, but also letting Anji frame-trap arbitrarily from (minus but generally safe) Fuujin itself. Anji keeps catching me with small-gap Nagiha when I try to do Fafnir as a callout for Rin, after blocking Fuujin!
Just, the whole system of moves is really interactive. You'd think that "reversal that has various options on block (some of them slow but plus), and also can start a combo" would be mega-broken, but no, it is actually really fair, and also somehow strong-enough, too!
