Papercraft commission of Aglaea and Castorice from Honkai Star Rail! HoYoverse character designs, being so beautifully detailed, are always a wonderful challenge to make in paper - so I was really excited to try my hand at these lovely ladies. And the requested pose was for them to be dancing, to boot! Dancing poses are great fun, and, what with all the fluttering details and sweeping movement, are a great way to show off complicated costumes!

I recently picked up Hiromi Matsuo's Rondo artbook (which is chock-full of the most gorgeous fashion illustrations, and which I hear has just been licensed for an English release!!), and spotted a particular hat that I thought would look good on Merisel. So I drew it! 👒

Papercraft commission of the client's friend's character, Alister! He's a half-elf artificer who specializes in making mechanical pets (which double as weaponry), represented here by that little clockwork hedgehog above him! His requested arms-crossed pose was great fun to make, plus I always love having a reason to bust out the craft gears and tiny watch components. ⚙️

A painting done as a gift for a friend! I was pretty nervous before starting this one because I hadn't used watercolors in quite in a while, and also, I'm not often called upon to portray buildings - so, there were lots of elements here that felt out of my comfort zone. But I ended up having fun! And my friend seemed very pleased with the gift, which is what matters most. 💕

hey! sorry if this has been asked before. where do you source your paper for your papercraft? i'm curious whether it's a specific type or if you mostly use recycled materials? do you have recommendations for brands if you do source new materials for them? love your work, especially the critical role stuff. it's very inspiring to someone who has only dabled in papercraft and collage.

While I do keep an eye out for interesting everyday papers I can recycle/reuse, I buy most of my papers from art supply stores, stationery stores, or (when I can find them) specialty stores that focus specifically on paper! Though these aren't the names of brands, per se, the papers I use tend to be stocked in these stores as "handmade paper" or "decorative paper."
If you're looking for specific stores, my favorite paper store in the world is The Paper Place in Toronto! And in the US, I've loved Paper Source for a long time!
Papercraft commission of Corbeau from Pokémon Legends: Z-A! I really enjoyed all the poison-esque details of his design on his lapels, glasses and coat lining, so I tried to make them stand out with shimmery holographic paper. The marbled magenta paper on the inner lining of his coat, in particular, is a longtime favorite of mine, but I rarely get the chance to use it, so I was excited that it suited Corbeau so well!

Hello there, dearest Anon! Pet portraits - for example, a fullbody or a bust piece - are priced the same as my other papercraft! They also come with a bonus free background paper, to better help the pet's fur (scales/coat/body in general) stand out. 🐾
Papercraft commission of Chrollo (and his indoor fish!), looking out over the city skyline as a heist unfolds below. This one had a lot of complicated layering, from the block-like buildings in the background to the scales of the long fish bodies, and I think the overall effect came out really neat!

A papercraft memorial portrait of Cinder, a wonderfully sweet cat. Her most beloved pose was loafing with her legs tucked up underneath her, so that was the requested pose for the piece. I hope I did her cuteness justice!
Mini papercraft commission of Hythlodaeus, Azem, and Emet-Selch/Hades from Final Fantasy XIV! It's always interesting to make characters who wear the same uniform, because my dueling instincts are to A) keep all the patterns of their clothes the same, because, well, they're meant to be uniform! or B) BUT IT'S FUN TO USE AS MANY PATTERNS AS I CAN!!! I pitched down the middle for these by using the same pattern for the base of each black cloak, but they all get different hoods and mask patterns. ^_^
