Reading so many people (‘antis’, but i don’t like that term) responding to popular pro-shoplifting posts makes me want to. I can’t speak for all people who shoplift but I can speak for me. I am a teenager, I am not from a particularly well off background, I thought I was but as I get older I discover more debt and problems in my family which make me angry. I am angry that although everyone related to me works as hard as they can, it’s be in debt or not eat. Be in debt or no personal hygiene. Be in debt or no comfort.

So yeah, I fucking steal.

I steal food. I steal clothes. I steal makeup. I am stealing a ton right now because my nieces deserve a lovely Christmas with presents to open. My mother deserves things that make her feel good about herself. I sneak in her room and replace her perfumes and lotions that are running out with ones I’ve stolen so she won’t worry about spending her hard earned money on ridiculously overpriced shit that she deserves. I don’t take from family run stores, local businesses, market vendors. I spend money there and at charity shops too. I take from the big corps that I know for a fact it doesn’t hurt.

‘But-but- employees get-’ No, they don’t. Not where I steal from. Shoplifting is not their problem, they are not to blame for it, it is SO illegal here to cut paychecks or hours for shoplifting unless it’s a local/family run place, which as I said are off limits completely. The big trendy chains here can more than afford a lipstick going missing, a dress stuffed in my bag. The staff are not hurt and if I ever found out otherwise I’d stop this in a heartbeat.

I steal and I’m not fucking ashamed. I am careful, I think about what I take and why and where from. I will steal until we get out of the poverty my government has put us in.

See, my mother has a business, one she worked hard on. Once she broke even, she was forced to shut down part of it because of a ridiculous new law based on taxing square fucking metres of space and she was centimetres over, and subsequently could not afford the extra thousands of pounds a year. She was then forced to lower prices which are already cheap to get as much business as possible because they said if she earns just above what she is earning currently she is taxed hundreds more.

This system keeps us poor and in return I am going to take what I want and need from it.

You hate thieves? Cool. Yell at the people who robbed Pewdiepie. Or the ones who smash n grab at Pandora. Or the assholes who would dine n dash at my mother’s business because it’s a small place and we are too busy to chase. The people who threaten family run gas stations for the till money. THEY are the bad guys here.

Here are some things that are easy to steal and quick to sell! Also adding in how much they sell for.

Fenty gloss/balm for $10-12 (any shade)

Any PINK branded items $14-40

Bundle of VS/PINK panties $20-40

Stranger Things/Premium/Trendy PopSockets $10-15

PINK/VS Bras in common sizes $18-50

Any trendy branded (FILA, Champion, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.) clothing $20-50

AE Jeans $18-30

Any name brand skincare $10-30

MILK Cooling Sticks. You can bundle these ($30) or sell them individually ($15).

Lush. I heard this doesn’t really sell but I sold a twice used big tub of Ocean Salt for $25 so take it with a grain of salt.

Plain colored S’well bottles. I sold one S’well Traveler in a lavender color for $20 within hours.

Kankens. Don’t expect to get nearly as much as they retail for though. These sell for $30-55.

Vans/Converse in a size 6 have sold for me but I heard size 8 sells too.

Bundles of Better than Sex or Damn Girl! mascara $20-30

Lime Crime/similar underground type branded makeup $15-20

Since I do a lot of food hauls I learned a lot about durability and what you should lift first so that you can get a baseline set of ingredients in your pantry🍑

🍒Lift seasonings! There will come a time when all the lifted food you get needs to be cooked and it’s going to taste bland.

🍑Lift canned foods and frozen vegetables and fruits! These will last you forever! Buying fresh food is always better but you’ll need to do that every week. Bulking up in this will make sure you’ll always have a stocked fridge even if you run out of fresh food.

🍒 Lift things that last a long time in your household, whether it’s orange juice or milk, you’ll want products you can actually enjoy but won’t go through super fast.

🍑 Stay away from foods in the inner section of the market, these tend to be junk. Do not lift junk to fill your pantry!!!!! It is NOT filling and will fly out of your shelves! do this after you have your pantry full!

🍒 Try and lift difficult items in bulk, if you can’t really lift cereal, then go one day extra and get more of them all at once! This saves the hassle of you stressing every week for one box when you take the extra day to get a couple in one hit!

🍑 Lift INGREDIENTS! Not already prepared food! This is always the freshest and cheapest option as well as healthiest! You’re not going to eat a head of lettuce with nothing else! You’re going to put it in broths and salads and sandwiches! If you want pasta then lift the individual ingredients like the pasta shells, tomatoes, tomatoes paste that sort of thing. It’s smarter then lifting a $10 premade item that’s only one serving for one person.

🍒Lift soups! Please lift soups if you struggle keeping food in the house! You can lift these and make little sandwiches for dinner and bam you’ve had a filling meal! They are also really small and not heavy! And they last a long time! PLEASE STOCK OF CANNED FOODS!

🍑If you’re going to lift fresh foods like me then please know WHEN you’re going to eat them. If I know I’m going to eat 3 avocados in 3 days I’ll lift 3 FRESH ones. After if I eat avocados for the rest of the week (4 more days) I’ll lift 4 unripe ones. That way by the time I do eat them they will have ripened and not spoiled! Some fruits and veggies spoil in the fridge so please google the specific food item you’re looking for so they don’t go to waste!

Things to spend your boosting money on: Furniture! IKEA is so awesome Cooking tools! Mixers, microwaves, coffee machines, basically anything that you can’t lift just buy.

STORES THAT YOU WILL LOVE: Household decor: Pottery Barn, World Market, IKEA Beauty: Ulta Personal care: Bath and Body Works!! Cleaning supplies: Target! Please conceal in the dressing rooms :) Alcohol & Food: AJs! It’s fine food and if you have one in your state go go go! World Market has awesome wine selections and fun food! Clothes: Old Navy! Urban! Candles (it gets its own category because I LOVE CANDLES): BABW! Urban! POTTERY BARN AGH SO GOOD

Live comfortably! It doesn’t cost a fortune and if you don’t have a car, do what I do and bus to it! Lots of people do it and they’re just fine with it :) Get what you need and don’t struggle :)

Also may I add: Pencils, Pens, Erasers, Paper, Notebooks, Sticky Pads, Tape, Scissors, Hair Ties, Paper Clips, Nail files, Tweezers, Brushes, Disinfectant Wipes, Ziploc Bags, Room Spray, Tylenol or Advil, some form of pain relief, Itch and scratch cream, Extension cords, Cables, Food containers, Napkins Literally, there is so much we expect to be apart of a modern-day household, it is ridiculous. Who can afford it?
