My name is Suhaila, a mother of four children.

Today, my family and I lived through one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. My husband, my children, and I were forced to flee under gunfire, shelling, and missile attacks. 😭💔

Suddenly, the army advanced into our area in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, and we had no choice but to run for our lives and leave everything behind. My children were terrified, running as explosions and gunfire surrounded us. As a mother, all I could think about was protecting my children and keeping them alive.

We recorded a video while we were fleeing, so you can see with your own eyes what we experienced today. Al Jazeera also reported on the sudden displacement of people and the army's advance in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. We were there, living through those terrifying moments ourselves.

Tonight, we are in the streets with no tent, no home, no food, and nowhere safe to sleep. 💔 Everything we had was left behind as we escaped.

Please, I beg you, do not leave us alone. 🙏🏻 Any donation, no matter how small, can help us buy a new tent and provide food for our children.
