Please check out @democracynow for journalism that focuses on peace and full truths more than soundbites and sensationalism. I learned from their YouTube channel that @codepinkalert has more action steps to prevent our participation potentially and keep our politicians focused on peace and LIFE. They're an anti-war campaign. Also, @telesurenglish has full YouTube videos of discussions from Putin and other foreign leaders with discussions in full translated context of their intentions so we can see their misguided acts or actually good acts that will either help us or continue to hurt us everyday people. All the #AllLivesMatter folks, left "wing" or right "wing"...this is a moment where I especially feel like all life matters...and this bird of humanity can't "fly" unless our wings work together. Whatever you call yourself, whatever your party or non-party...whatever your religion or beliefs...I think it's time we believe in LIFE and the ability to LIVE in a world where we remember our politicians don't control us, but we choose to listen to them or not for a greater good. We CHOOSE to listen to each other or not & we need to really put our patience and grace with each other at the front to work together now more than ever. Lets learn non-violent communication together. Take therapy with that person you keep fighting with or solo for yourself...we can work to make actual peace happen with solutions & find honest peace with each other...how else will the world heal itself if we aren't actively trying to heal ourselves and support each other's healing....? #Poem3of5 - Powers Able to take speed away From bullets fired at him He was the one plucking ammunition From the air Before Keanu had a care He ages slower Fast healing Super charged electric blood Speed force pumping Evacuate a burning building Of a thousand people quick Never gets sick Circles the globe On foot In an instance Be in multiple places at once Visual imprints One time An enemy was blowing up a bridge In multiple places He raced to a library A LIBRARY To learn How to repair a bridge Grabbed items & tools From a warehouse nearby Ran back over to the bridge That was still rupturing In such slow motion That he was able To fully repair the bridge Before it ever Fully finished Exploding And not just that But as soon as he Returned to normal speed He forgot Everything he just learned Since he won't retain What he studies at a high velocity What a victory for creativity Moral integrity IQ, in the world's finest He could be wondering What it's like to rule the world Like Nas but nah He'd rather run daily to save it Exhaust every option Than to ever take a life He knows he has no Power To take With great power of speed Comes great wisdom Knowledge & an intellect To use it for all For everyone's best benefit Because what good Are the most amazing powers If the world we live in Is being devoured? #Poem2of5 - Origin The Flash Of lightning struck Through the window Super charged chemicals He was doused with The same way His uncle Barry was The same day He became The Flash Learning his powers The ins and outs Like circling his arms At certain speeds Could create twin tornados And put fires out No doubt he had lots to learn But he embraced Every lesson Every step On this journey Of a septillion miles Humility earned From a man he revered Idolized and respected Never neglected by Barry Allen showed him ropes That Wally West Would soar from the top of First as Kid Flash A founding member Of the Teen Titans Then he was the third Flash When Barry passed From a crisis that was infinite He inherited the mantle And from 86-2009 So many comics So many stories So much time That era was mine I grew up as Kid Flash grew I learned lessons with him About how to control My powers As a child As a human With untapped abilities Unlimited potential An imagination that's essential Along with aligning action To make this world better And becoming My best self In the process Learning People who do evil Are not what they do Learning To remember and cultivate All the good that exists Learning How to handle ailments Never to identify by them But remembering the cures Are sure to work When done daily To embrace his enemy As a friend Reformed criminals Became teammates And in the same lens He could see more Than who someone is But who they could be Put the work in The support in The compassion in To help what good he sees In a villain Become as real As reality But even more permanent What if I could see The world like that?
