💫🐶ANNOUNCEMENT🐷💫! I was asked to write a poem that could compliment this book of essays and stories about what animal liberation is, the personal evolution of empathy people went through, and why it impacts EVERY single human, ALL of us. This single poem had a journey of gratitude. I think of @janeunchainednews who first commisioned me to write an appreciation poem for her hardworking dedicated global staff of online reporters that share everything from new veg friendly restaurants to demonstrations and townhall meetings to enforce/pass laws protecting animals that are supposed to already be put in place. Great party, great staff, lovely impact they do. At that party I met or remet @veganspirituality from the wonderful org @indefenseofanimals who then hired me to write an Activist Appreciation poem about compassion fatigue that alot of activists in general feel but also animal rights activists that see injustice and death on people's plates and in grocery stores...so much to feel...and then from that piece... I was able to rewrite and tailor the poem specifically for @brittanyforanimals POWERFUL visionary book #VoicesForAnimalLiberation ! This is it's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOLKS! 💫💥💫💥💫💥💫🦄 SO I had to post about it and let you know the link is in my BIO! *If you want a signed copy, comment below and I'll order some first when the list is nearing to be 30 people. It'll probably be an extra $10 for the signed copies, I'll do a max of 50 signed copies for now since my time is tight at the moment!* It's still a phenomenal feeling to know people from all walks of life...an army veteran, Olympic athlete, teacher, and a poet...all contributed to this book...that focuses on the appreciation of life in all It's forms and the continued survival of our collective species.
