Danny: Wow. The first time I've ever been threatened with a kiss by a cute girl!

Danny: Yeah.

Danny: Yeah? How come?

Kitty: Someone is messing with our graves. I think they stole our bones.

Danny: *Gasp* What!? How dare-that's the worst thing- who!?

Kitty: I'm not sure but I felt it. I've been experiencing Grave-flickering.

Danny: Ancients! Are you alright?! Have you gone to a ghost doctor? I can get you a great referral to the Far Frozen Healing Institute.

Kitty: That's sweet, but we already have our primary. The problem is that the flickering is becoming more frequent and this far away from the protal is already a strain. Shadow is too weak to leave Johnny's side as it is. We won't have much time before we destabilize.

Danny: Shit.

Kitty: Exactly. Can I count on you to go to Gotham for us and put us to rest again?

Danny: Of course! I'll book a plane right now.

Kitty: Thank you so much. One more thing, you'll need our real names to help your search. I'm Katherine McCarthy, went by Kitty. Johnny is Johnny Wayne.

Danny: Got it....wait Wayne? As in Bruce Wayne?

Kitty: Yeah....Johnny was his illegitimate older brother. Thomas Wayne had him before his marriage and kept him a secret. Johnny went by his mother's maiden name, Roberts, but he was always bitter that Thomas didn't acknowledge him. When he turned sixteen, he legally changed his name to Wayne.....a few days later, we were both murdered in a drive-by while the two of us were driving on our way to a moive date. Johnny always suspected it was Thomas silencing him.

Danny: And if Bruce just found out about it, then he likely wanted to bury his father's crime

Kitty: We thought so too.

Danny: Don't worry Kitty. I will find your bones and Johnny's. I'll also bring the people responsible for your deaths to justice. I swear it

Kitty: ....Oh that was hot. Okay I get it Johnny.

Johnny: I TOLD YOU. HE'S GOTTEN HOT EVER SINCE HE TURN 16 TOO!

First, the person causing this is someone who hates Batman not because they’re evil but because they believe that Batman is the reason for all the villains. Like they utterly believe it. So they use magic to cast this spell to prove Batman is a menace.

We open up with Bruce Wayne. We see him with his parents, I would include that one scene from Batman begins with him falling into a cave, and then have it be the reason they leave the theatre through the back entrance.

Then of course we see them shot.

I would then show flashes of Bruce growing up and how Alfred tried but he struggled. I’ll show how a bunch of executives made moves Bruce never approved of, show teenage Bruce yelling at them in an office, have them secretly plot to get rid of him.

I’d actually show instances of them trying to do so, and then I’d show how Bruce realizes faking being a himbo helps have these lessen.

Then, the journey abroad.

People are wondering about this, confused why it’s showing Bruce when the caster claimed it was about Batman. Will Bruce meet Batman?

Then, the LOA. We see the training, the torrid romance with Talia. The way Bruce learn things. Then, we see him leave.

He comes back to Gotham, happily snatches back the reigns from the corrupt executives and we see him trying to make the world a better place without being Batman first.

And he fails.

Because like… for me I remember this one comic where he went to school to become a cop but he became so disillusioned with the process. I’d like to show it here. He tried. He fucking tried but corruption and cruelty is abound.

I would then have Penguin appear, because Penguin is basically a crime boss with a gimmick. He’s there before Batman, something people forget.

Bruce dons his first suit.

Everyone sees.

Meanwhile Bruce and his family have vanished, hiding away and watching. They see people freaking out, they see the way that people support or deny them.

But also I’d like some introspection from them when they realize that Bruce tried not to fight at first. But one man can’t do much.

I would follow then, showing Bruce fighting against Penguin, who ends up using his money (shown very clearly) to get an insanity plea. Which of course now calls everything into question.

Bruce’s first years are clearing out corruption, discovering evidence and placing tips to Jim Gordon who follows through. It’s him slipping into to reporters and keeping people safe.

I’d toss in a few other villains here. Mob bosses of course but maybe also I’d have Scarecrow, and I’d show he’s been there the whole time. Hes been experimenting on patients for years at Akrham, make it clear as fuck he’s just Like That.

His choice to attack Gotham is not because of Batman, more myth than reality then. It’s because he’s bored.

Batman being one of the few able to shrug his shit off makes him be a target.

This is when we’d get people realizing Bruce never caused the villains. That he’s not at fault. Except the castor refuses. He has to be at faultz

Then Dick. We see the Graysons fall. Bruce keeps an eye on him. We see the kid sent to Juvie for no reason and Bruce steps in.

Then we get so much humor as Dick is shown to be feral little monster who wants to murder the guy who killed his parents so bad. He finds out about Batman and just goes to fucking town. Bruce is frantically trying to keep this kid at home but he can’t

“… well that explains a lot.” Is the statement when Robin joins Bruce.

Then I’d introduce more villains. Mr. Freeze, not Batman’s fault. Poison Ivy, not his fault.

Then Joker.

Joker who is revealed to have been a serial killer already. Who moves from city to city for his own glee.

Who gets exposed to chemicals and really becomes the Joker.

Not Bruce’s fault.

Lately I've realized there's this hyperspecific fic premise I really love

Honestly, I'm thinking something independent. He initially applied for a job opening in Research and Development in terms of building computers, but something went wrong and was placed in Development.

Since it was okayed by Bruce, who was suffering some kind of head injury from his night job, this placement passed through Lucius' fingers who thought Bruce had a big plan for a new department and gave his okay.

That means HR was in charge of setting up an entire department with the vague instructions to get Danny his own floor, his own office, his own budget, and to use Research and Development policies as a base for him to start off of.

He basically had an entire department built for him with a fill in the blanks kind of reason for it existing. Danny is allowed to hire a team or run it himself. He wasn't told what he was developing because Lucius thought it involved the bats in some way and needed to keep the obvious genius from asking too many questions.

So Danny winds up with a department head paycheck instead of entry level. Has to identify what Development does because it's not research and development, and it doesn't have a clear description. Has an entire floor - complete with lab space, kitchen, bathroom, changing rooms, and oddly a pool (they didn't know what he needed) and after orientation just got dumped there and told to get to it.

When he asked what "it" was, everyone just shrugged and said if Mr. Wayne personally sought him out then he would know what to do.

He choose not to hire anyone else until he knows what he needs a team for, at least at first. So for three years he is the only memeber of Development, and rumors of what he is up to in his private floor fly through the company that tries to figure out why everyone else needs to have such a high clearance level to get the elevator to even stop on his floor or the door to open from the stair way.

The cleaning crew can only send someone up there once a week after signing the NDA. No one knows what's going on in development, not Bruce, because he thinks Lucius is overseeing it. Not Lucius because he thinks Bruce is watching as Batman. And not Danny, who got way more than he was told he was getting in the interview.

He winds up just, turning in gadgets for household settings since he has nothing else to do and goofing off most of the time.

Unknown to Danny, his household gadgets are all but revelationary, and Wayne Stocks rocketed since he started. He was just using things his parents created for around the house chores cause they lazy.

Of course, he checked to see if they were okay with sharing their design and got them some funds with patent request through WE law that thought it was part of Development.

A rumor starts that Development is to take ideas that already exist but fail and develop them into successful inventions, thus giving the product creator a small fortune for all the revenue they earn. It's like selling your ideas to inventors.

Danny is doing such a good job he actually starts getting requests from outside his parents to futher failed designs and keeps making WE money that no one realizes what happened until five years later.

By that point, Danny is too much of a value employee to fire or disband his department. He also has a team by then, so they would lose like ten people if they try to go for Development.

But the rumors before that comes to light is crazy.

Danny: There isn't? But what about the ad on Gotham Job Connects saying a nanny was needed at Wayne Manor?

Alfred: I am unsure how that go on there but I can assure you, no one here put up that-

Damian: Excuse me, are you Daniel Fenton?

Danny: *Blinks down at child* Oh um yes I am.

Damian: Excellent. You're right on time for your interview. Please follow me.

Alfred: Master Damian? You put up a ad for a nanny?

Damian: That's right.

Alfred: You....want someone to care for you?

Damian: Heavens no. I'm searching for a nanny for the real child of the house. I know you're overwhelmed with the day to day duties running the household and didn't want you to have a heart attack from the stress. A professional nanny would lift the load off your shoulders.

Danny: That's so sweet that you care so much for your staff. Who's the child you want someone to help take care of? You're baby brother or sister?

Damian: My father.

Danny: .....

Alfred embarrassed: Master Damian....why would you-?

Damian: Richard says Father acts like a child, and children need minding if they make idiotic decisions too often.

Danny: .....

Alfred: I'm terrible sorry about this young man. I'll reimburse any millage you wasted driving out here.

Danny: No, it's okay. I-

Damian: The pay is fifty dollars a hour. Eighty hours every two weeks. We cover all benefits such as medical, dental, vision and auto insurance, and lodging can be provided if needed. Depending on how long we need your services I'll set up a retirement fund for you matching your bi-weekly pay.

Danny: So I would be like a in home caregiver? Most of my experience is with children but I'm sure I could handle your father.

Alfred: Master Damian!
