tirf = trans-inclusive radical feminism.
if you face tangible misogyny irl, i care about your pov on feminist issues! and i care very much about anti-trans oppression as well in general. as a detrans woman with reverse dysphoria i am never uncritical, but i refuse to add to transphobia and gncphobia. i love fellow gnc people very dearly, trans included.
i tend to use ofab/omab with o meaning observed, since afab/amab terminology is typically for intersex experiences, but i will use whatever language reaches people the most in certain posts.
manhood & womanhood are not always the same as maleness & femaleness imo. trans experiences are complex. gayness is wonderful, including exclusive same-agab/sex attraction like transfem4omab, transmasc4transmasc, and any kind of atypical experiences someone has that leads to them risking homophobia in the world. if you don't risk tangible bigotry experience irl of homophobia or misogyny, please be a good ally and don't talk over those who do. same thing if you don't risk tangible transphobia or gncphobia etc.
cis/bio/non-trans women, transmasc people, transfem people and intersex folks are all oppressed under the patriarchy in unique ways, especially if they're gay/bi as well. being a nuancefem means exploring every single side of this, and not putting one experience as inherently worse than another. it's all about what the specific person is actually experiencing. you can be oppressed on one axis and privileged on another; all of us are both in some way or another, and we all need to speak up on our experiences and boost voices of those going through things we aren't. i am against creepy "cotton ceiling" rhetoric, misogyny, homophobia and detrans stigma in trans activist spaces, and against racism, intersexism, genuine transphobia and ableism in radfem spaces. i boost the voices of misogyny-affected people of all kinds on this rad-leaning feminism blog. my experiences as a gnc woman in a wheelchair who had chronic dysphoric for 13+ years affects my feminism very deeply. i love my trans gyns <33 i know the struggle, and i will fight against trans stigma tooth and nail. i am also post-gender without being trans, and i believe more cis women should be! gender is fake, we should all be free to express ourselves under the heteropatriarchy however we want to.
as an ex-camgirl who was traumatized and exploited in the industry, i am very critical of the sex industry but care deeply for those who must rely on it to survive. selling access to your body is risky. you can never take back those pictures/videos/acts, and disgusting cis men can share those around even if you quit, and often will weaponize those against you even years later, possibly ruining your chances at future work or personal relationships and irl reputation. your consent cannot be removed. the internet will most likely keep those forever and old creeps with disgusting ideas of female/ofab people & transfemmes will get off to it. it is not a safe industry. so many videos out there are genuine sexual abuse and coercion. no porn site is ethical. i am critical of the industry, not its victims and the people who use it to survive. i want a better world for us all. please reach out if you're in it and trying to get out, or out of it and still traumatized. it's not your fault that your consent was purchased. you deserved better.
btw, reblogs aren't an endorsement of every reply in the post or the op of the post. i tag any potential misgendering in other people's replies to insightful posts - often the op will have deleted their blog, and only a shitty reply remains... so i reblog to use it in later writing - as misgendering cw. i'm reblogging less and less content like that, but i used to rb a bunch early on when i needed more topics to dissect. so be careful scrolling too far, especially if you're trans!!

internally, you must start adding βand they still canβt stop usβ to the end of every dismaying statistic about rape, male violence, and woman-hating. 1 in 9 girls are sexually abused, and they still canβt stop us. a woman is killed by a partner or family member every 10 minutes, and they still canβt stop us. the global pay gap is still wide, we have not achieved gender parity in global politics, etc etc etc, and they still canβt stop us. women & girls canβt be stopped. we carve out our lives and make change. we are at war and many individual battles are lost, the suffering is enormous. but women will win the war (and are winning across the eons), because everything theyβve done so far hasnβt been able to put a dent in the collective female spirit, which is evident when you look at the curve of human history and how we never give up on improving, inventing, innovating, changing life for the better
it's absolutely crazy that saying "sex-based oppression exists and affects people of the female sex and is perpetuated by people of the male sex" gets u labeled a terf. this is basic feminism 101. if u deny that female ppl are oppressed on the axis of being female u are a sexist misogynist shitbrain aughbh
these people are stuck in their hivemind, like i was. and oftentimes are too dysphoric and/or traumatized by misogyny to even approach real feminism meaningfully... yet still somehow want to say their opinion on every feminist thing, or stop us from discussing it.
even if you say it in the least dysphoria-inducing way as "afab people are systematically oppressed by amab people and have been historically for centuries, but yes, transfems can experience a unique form of oppression as well that afab ppl can perpetuate; this can be important to discuss in some feminist spaces as well, but this does not erase their lack of experience with childhood misogyny & afab-only struggles with periods, abortion rights, child brides, afab-exclusive misogynistic laws worldwide, etc. transfems, meanwhile, are fetishized, sexualized, harassed and assaulted in unique ways under the patriarchy. both groups can have their struggles discussed. saying afab people are oppressed by amab people isn't a threat."
even if you say it like that, or with even more complexity, they will not listen because they're either struggling too much, stuck in echo chambers, or are actual misogynists/predators benefiting from it.
Don't start doing it with essentials like food/clothes/detergent/etc if you're not genuinely poor though! Otherwise it literally makes it harder for actual poor people to do it since it makes the companies reinforce more harsh surveillance in the store π

other women said "you should go to the gym for your own holistic wellbeing and appreciate your body for what it can do not how it looks" and i was like that would never happen
and then i started going to the gym for my own holistic wellbeing and began to appreciate my body for what it can do and not how it looks and i had to be like well fuck lol
it's like when ppl say to go for a walk when you're sad and you go "that's stupid" but then the stupid walk makes you feel better smh
it's genuinely not that hard to be a trans rights supporting radical feminist if you have half an ounce of critical thinking skills
it's only society that makes it so difficult because people donβt want to acknowledge nuance and everyone innately wants to categorise people and ideas and ideologies into definitive boxes that just don't comfortably function in the real world
hi!! you can call me trinket (not my real name) and this is my lesbianism/feminism side blog.
i consider myself a "nuancefem" because while i subscribe to a lot of radfem theory, i'm also very sympathetic to those with dysphoria and i'm not against the concept of transitioning if deemed medically necessary. i also believe that individual men are capable of change and being allies to the female cause.
i'm an adult female lesbian and i consider myself a femme with a preference for femme4femme relationships but i also make an effort to support and uplift my butch sisters.
i firmly believe in gender abolitionism. "female" and "male" are gender neutral descriptors of a person's sex and everythng else is just culture.
as for my other interests, i'm a huge gaming nerd and i love j-fashion, folk music, reading, and drawing. i also collect keychains, pins, and blind box figures (mostly tokidoki) hence the name "trinket."
this is a sideblog and i can't follow back! but feel free to message or send asks.
seeing the tumblr transfem community constantly break their backs to defend abusers is so crazy to me
as much as i disagree with the tranfeminist framework and theory i think there's no denying that young transfems are a very vulnerable group YOU ARE PUTTING THE YOUTH OF YOUR OWN COMMUNITY AT RISK and for what? to defend rapists and pedophiles? it makes me sick

my name is morg. i am a 20-year-old radical feminist and trans inclusive/nuancefem. i am nonbinary and female. the misogyny i faced growing up female and the misogyny i still face today and will always face is an integral part of my identity. i can be critical of toxicity in trans spaces and radfem spaces at the same time.
i like listening to different perspectives but i do no tolerate or listen to proshippers/lolicons/rape and incest fetishists and their suppourters. aside from those people, love talking to and meeting new people and making new mutuals. (16+ to dm please, but any age can follow, though be aware this account touches on heavy subjects related to feminism) i have bpd, chronic depression (dysthymia), endometriosis, and autism.
i hate men (as a whole, some rare exceptions, guilty until proven innocent. i tolerate very few cisgendered males). i hate male supremacy. i hate pornography (involving real people) and the people who buy it. i hate sex buyers and pimps (aka sex traffickers). i hate the normalization of violent kink and violent sex. i am kink critical.
i love female solidarity and liberation. i love being myself. i love nuance. i love trans people. i love radical feminists. i love birth control and abortion. i love childfree women. i love febfems, lesbians, and people who exercise freedom to decenter men even though i am still working on it. i love 4b movement. i love feminists. my love goes out to all victims of misogyny.
i hate rape threats. no matter how "bad" the person directed at it is. i hate ableism. i hate the r-word. i hate people who post about rape "kinks"/fantasies. i hate incest. i hate the sexualization of minors even in fiction. i hate sexism/homophobia/racism/ableism/bigotry of marginalized groups (cisgendered men are not oppressed for being men cry abt it). i hate my dad always. i hate the rest of my family only sometimes.
i love my mutuals. i love my friends. i love talking about things going on in my life. i love my boyfriend (it's complicated. see: bpd). i love pokemon. i love fictional characters. i love volo from pokemon legends arceus. i love astarion from baldurs gate. i love nagito komaeda from danganronpa. i love genshin impact. i love cats.
Btw digging up random transmen or afab nonbinary peoples tiktoks from their personal social media pages that have like 23 likes and sharing them to your thousands of twitter followers for people to insult them and crudely speculate over their mental health / past trauma will never be feminist praxis!!!!! Especially if the person in the video is venting about dysphoria!!!!
