I had an interview today with [French hypermarket brand] and I guess it was OK. As a summer job it would be fine, but after that not so much (40h/w).

Howeverrrr, [German technology market brand] scheduled another interview for tomorrow to sell an specific brand of computers. I've never sold a thing before so I'm not sure how it will go but this one is better for me than the other: 16h/w (two afternoons and one full day) which isn't much for a summer but once I start classes again it would be perfect... I hope I'm lucky enough. 🍀🥲

#both of them would be good for my cv because i lack experience selling stuff when most of the job offers are for that...

It's so funny how kids who were only given the "girl" toys seemed to frequently develop the most maniacal imaginations. When I was little and I visited friends or family who were little girls they'd have their Barbies involved in ritual sacrifice or human trafficking. They'd have barbie's evil twin drive ken to suicide by poisoning his horse or some shit.

Action figures set up only the simplest kinds of violence, heroes and villains punching or shooting each other over doomsday plots. When you crave high stakes drama as all children do but your characters are all rich suburban women you kinda have no choice but to get pitch dark I think. The only kinds of villains that logically exist in that setting are just so much sicker and nastier than just doctor octopus or something.

#i would play with my toys (barbie and stuff) qnd my brother's toys (soldiers etc) and i would have drama stories anyway #one of my barbies had her nose cut off because she was fighting cornelia from the WITCH #or something like that meanwhile my brother had the same barbie and she was spotless...#i bought an action man for 5€ once and he was the boyfriend for my barbies (i think? i dont remember much about him)#but i never had a ken #i would do the same playing ANY videogame #you would ask how i could came up with drama in games like: need for speed midnight club fifa tony hawk underground 2 etc etc #but i did #and my brother went along with it lol imagine a pro evolution soccer game meanwhile drama was happening #ofc torture and sacrifices happened once in a while too
