Purposefully dowsing himself or the set in an allergen for C/olt to make him look bad. Walk with me here,,,,,

I don’t think C/olt has many allergies. He’s not even that sneezy generally- but oh boy when he encounters something he’s allergic to all hell breaks loose.

He tries to ignore it he really does- but he can’t really do stunts safely if he’s sneezing his head off due to god knows what.

I’m torn bc I read a fic where he has these cute small sneezes he’s embarrassed of and I can def see it- HOWEVER I think if the fit goes on for long enough, they’ll get bigger and bigger. Either way he can never control them and he hates it, so he stifles it.

Ofc women think it’s adorable and if he MUST he plays into it but truthfully he’s rather embarrassed of it.

i love your idea that s//eb has a ton of false starts. and I am imagining these get worse the more he stifles so he finds himself constantly stuck in this sneezy limbo where he doesn't want to sneeze at a gig / in front of M//ia but the more he stifles (and he is, I think, a master of the hands-free silent stifle), the more drawn out his build ups get and the more false starts he has. so he's having to trade off between actually sneezing, something he can control but hates, and completely losing control and being a hitching mess who now can't sneeze.

and here, you can decide whether you'd prefer to imagine this early in their relationship, where M//ia would probably find somewhere secluded and rub his back until he has a handle on his nose, or whether this is later, when they start to have problems, where maybe she'd draw attention to it to embarrass him.
