I wish the world were ending tomorrow. Then I could take the next train, arrive at your doorstep in Vienna, and say: āCome with me, Milena. We are going to love each other without scruples or fear or restraint. Because the world is ending tomorrow.ā Perhaps we donāt love unreasonably because we think we have time, or have to reckon with time. But what if we don't have time? Or what if time, as we know it, is irrelevant? Ah, if only the world were ending tomorrow. We could help each other very much.

A big, big thank you to everyone who participated in the February Flash! You are all amazing!!!
Very late, but here's the promised masterlist, in alphabetical order of creator and work title! Published in 2 parts, because Tumblr cannot deal with so much greatness in one post.
Please note that the first 10 works on this list are anonymous as their creators have not asked us to de-anon. (Should you be among these creators and change your mind, you can still get in touch with us and we will de-anon the work in the AO3 collection.)
30 authors and artists created 67 works for our event! 178,895 words! And several beautiful visual artworks!
429 comments have been left for our wonderful creators so far, 942 kudos, and 126 bookmarks were created. Come on, sailors, we can up these numbers quite a bit!

I remember first discovering this site five or six years ago and they havenāt even cracked a million names yet. I think itās a really wonderful memorial that emphasizes each name as an individual rather than just a statistic and doubles as a teaching moment to show the sheer devastation to the global Jewish community and emphasize exactly how large a number six million is.
I'll love to read some star trek's original slash zines like it must be amazing to see who K/S have evolved over time, who it was perceived at the beginning...
This is my favorite kind of post >:) Since I was tagged, I'm going to drop some links for you! First, many thanks to @fanlore-wiki and OTW for all they do. None of this would be accessible if not for them <3
Here's a list of Ao3 links to individual authors who wrote fics in the 70s, 80s, and 90s! Names with a * are the most "iconic," aka who's works were most influential to the fandom.
April Valentine (80s)
Beverly Volker & Nancy Kippax (70s-80s)
Eileen R (70s-80s)
*Natasha Solten (80s)
Katharine Scarritt (80s)
Mary Lowe (80s)
CatalenaMara (80s)
Suzan Lovett (80s)
*Gayle Freyrer (70s-80s)
*Jenna Sinclair (80s-90s)
*Connie Faddis (70s-80s)
*Charlotte Frost (80s-90s)
Disclaimer: Most of these fics will not utilize Ao3's tagging system since they were imported from an archive, therefor you may encounter some dark themes such as noncon, major character death, etc. Formatting may also be slightly off.
More below the cut, including links to whole fanzines!

Available on The Internet Archive:
All of Spockanalia (late 60s, one of the first)
Contact #1 (1975)
Contact #3 (1977)
Alpha Continuum (four issues, 1976-80)
As I Do Thee (two issues, late 80s)
ScoTpress's archived site has hundreds (tip: you need to press the cover of each zine to access the PDFs. They look like images, but they're links!)
There are more if you search "star trek fanzine," but the search results aren't always perfect and are constantly changing :)
Next, here are some fanlore pages I recommend if you're interested in behind-the-scenes context or just browsing a selection of awesome art. These are well known zines with many publications and dozens of contributors:
Vault of Tomorrow (gen. '81-'88)
As I Do Thee 1-10 (slash, '84-'88)
As I Do Thee 11-21 (slash, '88-'94)
Naked Times 1-10 (slash, '78-'86)
Naked Times 11-20 (slash, '86-'88)
Naked Times 21-32 (slash, '88-'94)
Here is a comprehensive list of every known Star Trek slash zine, and fanlore's index of gen zines. I like the Strekzine Roster (much less overwhelming, strictly early zines) as well as fanlore's list of zines published between 1967-1970.
Lastly, here's a link to my INACTIVE tumblr blog's archive of digitally restored pages. I'm continuing that work here on my new blog :)
Have fun! My DMs are open if you have any questions!
And lets not forget the Holocaust survivors killed in the past two years. The survivor attacked during the Boulder, Colorado firebombing. Or the survivor who also survived Oct 7. Or the fact that at least one Holocaust survivor was among the victims of the Bondi Beach pogrom.
Like. I cannot stress enough that the world went "Oh fuck we're just not gonna keep murdering Jews." The world very much went "We're gonna keep murdering Jews, we're just not gonna do it in the industrialized way the Nazis went about it. That was too far. But we do think Jews should die lol."
There is an exculpatory ease to embracing this āyoung girl,ā whose murder is almost as convenient for her many enthusiastic readers as it was for her persecutors, who found unarmed Jewish children easier to kill off than the Allied infantry. After all, an Anne Frank who lived might have been a bit upset at her Dutch betrayers, still unidentified, who received a reward for each Jew they turned in of approximately $1.40. An Anne Frank who lived might not have wanted to represent āthe children of the worldāāparticularly since so much of her diary is preoccupied with a desperate plea to be taken seriously, to not be perceived as a child. Most of all, an Anne Frank who lived might have told people about what she saw at Westerbork, Auschwitz, and Bergen-Belsen, and people might not have liked what she had to say.
And here is the most devastating fact of Frankās posthumous success, which leaves her real experience forever hidden: we know what she would have said, because other people have said it, and we donāt want to hear it.
The line most often quoted from Frankās diary are her famous words, āI still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart.ā These words are āinspiring,ā by which we mean that they flatter us. They make us feel forgiven for those lapses of our civilization that allow for piles of murdered girlsāand if those words came from a murdered girl, well, then, we must be absolved, because they must be true. That gift of grace and absolution from a murdered Jew (exactly the gift that lies at the heart of Christianity) is what millions of people are so eager to find in Frankās hiding place, in her writings, in her ālegacy.ā It is far more gratifying to believe that an innocent dead girl has offered us grace than to recognize the obvious: Frank wrote about people being ātruly good at heartā before meeting people who werenāt. Three weeks after writing those words, she met people who werenāt.
