Cara Drook, Reclaiming La Belle Juive, (2022 ā).
'"La belle Juive" translates to "the beautiful Jewess." It is an archetype of Jewish women that is repeatedly shown in paintings and media throughout history. "La belle Juive" is rooted in antisemitism and misogyny. My goal with this collection is to have Jewish women take control of their narrative and reclaim "La belle Juive." I want to return dignity to the subjects and show what truly makes Jewish women beautiful.'

You guys need to stop trying to re-imagine Magneto as anything other than a Jewish Holocaust survivor. His age is not nearly as much as an issue as yāall make it out to be. Itās fiction, heās been de-aged numerous times, and there are still survivors alive todayāand with the amount of antisemitism and Holocaust denial right now itās just obscene.
If you want to make a new morally gray villain/anti hero whoās anger stems from their oppression do that. But donāt take away Magnetoās Judaism.
The museum at my undergrad hosted a photography exhibit by Leonard Nimoy around 2002 or 2003 featuring photographs from his Shekhina series (which is the series the above pic comes from). It's a gorgeous and powerful series.
He was a very talented photographer. If you're curious about his photography, check out this page over at R. Michelson Galleries:
Considering how much goyim complain about what they see as outsized focus on Holocaust education, so many goyim know absolutely jackshit about the Holocaust
Because the Holocaust was meant to be some sort of self-improvement lesson about man's inhumanity to man or something universal like that, not specifically about us pesky, whiny Jews.

The amount of self described "antifascists" who go around wishing painful death on anyone who doesn't share their opinions in every tiny respect, anyone who is a member of an identity group they've decided is evil, or anyone whose voice of lived experience contradicts a talking point, is deeply ludicrous.
I don't think you understand what that word means at all, actually.
"Remember when we all went full nazi and started murdering jews and protesting kids with cancer? LOL that was our #deluluera so crazy right!? 𤪠Everyone juat really fell for that islamist propaganda, we were all doing it. Personally I found it all tasteless but I didn't say anything then"
like if a Jewish person is telling you youāre being antisemitic and your response is āI bet theyāre a Zionistā then you are probably antisemitic sry
@conniejoworld Thanks for instantly proving the point of this post lol.
Wow. Literally what the post was about. Israel was not mentioned anywhere here and yet when you saw a post criticizing racists who hate Jews you immediately popped up like āhow DARE you slander me like this?!ā Well. I guess you were right. Clearly you are indeed an antisemitic bigot so I guess the post WAS about you.
A couple things are really racist (and also just plain wrong) about with what you just wrote.
1) Nazism is a specific ideology, not a catch-all phrase for ābad people I donāt like.ā And that specific ideology was founded on genocidal hatred of Jewish people. And ultimately led to the genocide of at leas 6 million Jews. There is no Nazi party in Israel. That wouldnāt be possible. Ergo there no Nazism in Israel. Youāre just using a common antisemitic slur. To call Jews Nazis is extremely offensive and racist in addition to being ridiculous and inaccurate. The conflation of Jews or Israelis with Nazism was pioneered by the Soviet Union in the aftermath of WW2 as part of their violent propaganda campaign to incite hatred of Jews and carry out post-WW2 mass pogroms and repression of Jewish people. It is antisemitic and always has been.
2) Also. Your post implies all Israelis are Jewish. In fact only about 70% of Israelās population is Jewish. Israel is the most diverse country in the Middle East and regardless of heritage, every single Israeli is a ārealā Israel. Only fringe bigots on the Israeli extreme far right would say otherwise. Erasing the existence of the many non-Jewish people living in Israel, including Druze, Bedoins, Armenians, Arab Christians, Arab Muslims, Circassians, Arameans and many others. Itās inaccurate like itās wildly racist to say only a Christian of British decent is a ārealā American it
3) Racist Jew haters and anti-Israeli xenophobes will often try to hide behind claims that they are being unfairly persecuted for āactivismā or for ācriticism.ā This is, of course, ridiculous. But itās a common tactic for bigots. Just like when conservatives get called out for making a transphobic comment they will try to claim that āhumor isnāt allowed anymoreā when really thereās nothing wrong with humor. There IS something wrong with dehumanizing trans people and promoting bigoted lies about them. Similarly, there is nothing wrong with criticizing the policies of the Israeli government or of any other government. However, what people like you do is not ācriticism.ā It is not criticism of a government policy to respond to a post condemning antisemitism by making a bunch of inaccurate and racist statements. Youāre just a bigot.
You donāt anything about Israel. Youāre not an activist. Youāre a racist who saw a post about bigotry being bad and became enraged. Youāre no different from a Conservative who loses their mind every time they see the phrase Black Lives Matter.
You donāt always have to be like this. You can change. You can better yourself. You can stop being filled with ignorance and malice. Look at yourself. Look at who you are. Look at what youāve become - someone who spews hate because they saw a post on the internet condemning bigotry. You donāt want to be like that. Stop looking for acceptable targets to hurt and instead look at how you can help. Get offline. Go outside. Embrace compassion, love, education and nuance. Try to build harmony and unity.
And educate yourself. Here are a few good videos to start with.
to be slightly fair, there was actually a neo-nazi group in israel made up primarily of russian olim. However extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and āthese Jews are actually Jew-hatersā is. quite a claim.
Also, can we talk about this?
did none of their grandparents explain about genocide?
makes the Shoah into a teaching tool. It wasnāt a tragedy, it wasnāt something that killed over a third of all Jews, it wasnāt that. It was a Lesson to be Taught to the Jews, and we didnāt learn that lesson.
The lesson that they imposed on us: ādonāt kill people, even if they want you dead, even if they are trying to kill you. Be perfect and meet our ever-changing standards, and maybe we wonāt kill you.ā
When, in fact, if we took away a lesson from the extermination of a third of our people, it was this much more reasonable lesson: ānon-Jews cannot be trusted with Jewish safety, and while as long as we are a tiny minority that is not feasible, we can work on minimizing that dependence, and the simplest way to do so is to have the apparatus of a state to defend usā.
That ideology has a name.
Zionism.
If the Nazis taught us a lesson as they turned us to ash and shot tens of thousands of us in just a few days and systematically exterminated us, it is that Zionism is, unfortuantely, correct.

You donāt get to wriggle out of defending a genocide by crying āit happened to us first! This is an antisemitic conspiracy theory! Itās Holocaust inversion!ā
Using the Shoah to justify Israelās genocidal campaign is utterly morally repugnant. Consensus reality exists, international law exists, documented evidence exists, no matter how you continue to cudgel detractors by branding them as antisemites.
"If you gather enough antisemites together, antisemitism becomes reality" is a hell of a take, especially given that there are a little less than 16 million Jewish people in the world. We'll never be able to define the consensus under those rules; it'll always be a tyranny of the majority defining what's true about us. Less than half of the world's adults believe the Holocaust happened; a "consensus reality" view means that it didn't.
The Blitz wasn't a genocide. The bombing of Dresden wasn't a genocide. The 2003 invasion of Iraq wasn't a genocide. War is horrible, and can result in truly horrific civilian casualty figures. That doesn't make it a genocide.
Stop using language you don't understand because targeted propaganda has made you feel sad about something.
Couscous salad is a North African dish...and I don't think we should be naming food after instigators of genocide. No, this is not anti-semitic.
I'll answer this, but I'm not going to be engaging with asks like this again in the future. The recipe I pulled from says Israeli. If you're actually for real mad about that, go to that recipe site and contact them (linked in the post). I'm just a fun little blog that spends about five minutes on each post because I have a life outside of this. I didn't name food after anyone, and posting food from a country is not taking a political stance. Some of you want to be mad about anything but y'all need to get off my blog and be mad at someone else! I'm not going to avoid posting foods because of anything going on current day, this is about how different cultures make food, not about making a stance.
Medhi Hasan sitting on Twitter throwing around blood libel baby killer accusations and saying (((they))) are killing more kids than were killed on 10/7, but nobody cares because theyāre brown! first off, the racism towards Israelis is stupid and ends up being racist towards Iranians and Arabs too. second, every child who dies in a war is a horrible tragedy and none of them should have to be subjected to any of this, none of us want to see kids dying. however, no matter how much these people lie online, the United States and Israel are not targeting children. theyāre not killing kids on purpose or because they want to. itās awful every time. why is 10/7 different? because Hamas went into familiesā homes and saw those children and murdered them up close on purpose solely because they existed, because they were Israeli, because they were Jews. they tortured and assaulted them and burned them alive ON PURPOSE. they strangled them by hand ON PURPOSE. all because of who they were. there is a difference and there will always be a difference between murdering a child up close and enjoying it because you want to purge them off the face of the earth and tragic casualties of war. their value isnāt different, a child is a child, but the INTENT is different and if we lose that distinction then nothing fucking matters at all anymore. but I know they donāt care because they agree that Israeli children actually do deserve to die.
I havenāt been able to get this casual antisemitic rant out of my head for days. The use of āAmerican Zionistsā as a clear synonym for āJews.ā The way one bad actor is somehow acceptably emblematic of an entire group of people. The way āHasidicā is purposely garbled and transliterated in the subtitle as āacidic.ā The way we are dehumanized into a nameless āthem.ā The way the tactics of white supremacy are used toward the endāwe are not just content to steal from Black folks, weāre coming for white folks too. (Itās the eternal Jewish conundrum: We are too white to be victims, not white enough for purists. Never mind that we are not a monolith, and some of us, like me, have roots in Eastern Europe and Spain and Egypt and Iraq.) The way itās clear this person either doesnāt know or doesnāt care that Jews have a long history of having our property stolen from under us, whether during the Inquisition or the Holocaust or any of the other countless times weāve been forced out of our homes. I screen-recorded this video because I refuse to give the original poster the satisfaction of a repost, and because that person might take it down (though it had 15k likes last time I checked, and only positive comments). The way there is absolutely no proof offered to support any of the allegations of a global and local conspiracy. Iāve said it before and Iāll say it again: If you demonize an entire group in order to shine a light on injustice against another, you are not an activist, you are a bigot, and you are not helping anyone. Black-Jewish community relations are crucial in our collective fight against racism and antisemitism. This sickens me.
yeah, this is extremely unwell, historically inaccurate, and veers into full blown Nazi propaganda at the end.~16K likes.
if someone you know supports a post like the video here, they are not your friend. I know how harsh that sounds and that it hurts, but no one should be expected to remain friends with people who are blatantly prejudiced and lost in conspiracy theories.

Pakistan has accelerated its drive to expel Afghans who are undocumented or had temporary permission to stay.

Democratic candidate for New York City mayor, Zohran Mamdani, delivers remarks while campaigning at the Hanson Place Seventh-Day Adventist C
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has drawn backlash for attending the cityās annual parade celebrating Pakistan ā after refusing to attend a parade commemorating Israel over alleged human rights concerns.
āYesterday, I gathered with residents at the Allama Iqbal Community Centerās Mela to commemorate Pakistanās Independence Day and honor the contributions Pakistani New Yorkers have made to our city,ā Mamdani posted on X/Twitter on Monday.
āToday and everyday, we celebrate this community whose open arms, determination, and dreams for a better life have helped shape the city they call home,ā he added.
Pakistan Day Parade in New York City typically takes place in Manhattan in late August to commemorate Pakistanās Independence Day. The parade featured live music, speakers, community leaders, and cultural programming.
Mamdaniās presence at the parade raised eyebrows among observers due to his refusal to attend the cityās annual Israel Day Parade in late May, pointing to what he repeatedly described as Israeli human rights abuses.
āI said on the campaign trail that I wouldnāt be attending the parade, and Iāve made my views on the Israeli government abundantly clear,ā Mamdani said in May.
The mayor has repeatedly accused Israel of committing āgenocideā against civilians in Gaza and erecting an āapartheidā regime in the West Bank. He also stated in a CNN interview last month that he wonāt express support for Israel because he canāt āsupport any state that privileges one religion over another, whether it is Israel, Saudi Arabia, or anywhere else.ā
Israel does not have an official state religion, and non-Jewish Israelis enjoy the same equal rights throughout the country as Jews. In contrast, Islam is the official state religion in Saudi Arabia, and non-Muslims face certain legal and religious restrictions.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, State Attorney General Letitia James, and former City Mayors Eric Adams and Michael Bloomberg all attended the parade.
Critics of Mamdani questioned why the mayor attended the Pakistan Day Parade, given the countryās human rights record.
Religious minorities such as Christians, Shiāa Muslims, Hindus, and Ahmadis are often the subject of persecution within Pakistan.
Pakistan, officially an Islamic state, imposes strict blasphemy laws, which criminalize any commentary about the Prophet Muhammad contrary to the Quran, effectively restricting public expressions of non-Muslim faith. Pakistanās constitution discriminates against the Ahmadi minority specifically, banning the group from self-identifying as Muslims, preaching their faith, or inviting others to join their faith.
Under the Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Plan initiated in 2023, Pakistan has expelled a reported 2.68 million Afghans from the country, alleging that the minority group represents a security threat. Human rights organizations have called on Pakistan to cease the forced deportation of Afghans.
Pakistan is also accused of maintaining strict restrictions on speech and media, having allegedly arrested journalists and targeting media organizations critical of the government. This year, the government implemented a new policy restricting foreign journalists from reporting outside of Islamabad without securing government approval.
Mamdaniās decision to participate in festivities commemorating a country embroiled in a variety of human rights scandals raises further scrutiny as to whether the mayor imposes a double standard on Jewish people. The mayor has been accused by several local Jewish leaders of fomenting antisemitism through his incessant anti-Israel rhetoric.
Anti-Jewish hate crimes continued to dominate New York Cityās bias-crime landscape in the first half of 2026. The police recorded 178 confirmed anti-Jewish hate crimes ā 55.3% of all confirmed hate crimes citywide ā even though Jews comprise only about 10% of New York Cityās population. By comparison, police confirmed 21 anti-Muslim hate crimes and 33 targeting sexual orientation, meaning anti-Jewish incidents outnumbered anti-Muslim incidents by more than 8 to 1.
Iām going to say that I couldnāt care less that he refused to attend the Israel parade. I do care that his standards and his criticisms are discriminatory and hypocritical and inconsistent.
it really doesnāt matter where someone is from, as weāve seen/heard similar comments from people of varying races and nationalities all over the world - if someoneās reaction to meeting Jewish people is to say that āHitler should have finished the job,ā they shouldnāt pretend to be concerned about humanitarian issues anywhere. they are the Nazi. they are the one with genocidal desires. they might as well own it.
