2017 Selva jumpscare, cooking up some crystal

cuz there’s like cute and small Shan and ryn I thought I’d make an evil fucked up version of them, just a small glimpse into my twisted mind (/hj)

evil Ryan is horrifically deformed due to experiments :(. He’s from another dimension where he was experiemented on until he became uh this and went to our dimension where ya know Shane and Ryan and Shan and ryn r in to look at the life he could’ve had if he never thought volunteering was cool 💔 also ryn for scale

and evil Shane is uh…a ghost. a REALLLY scary one guys I promise he’s like super fucked up and evil, he’ll really scare you! He’ll go BOO and ull go AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Turns out there's a part of Antarctica that belongs to Argentina and also another one that belongs to Chile, which are both countries that belong to South America and are considered Latino countries. And yup, i researched, there are penguins who live in both of them. Funny thing? These countries' native currencies are called "Peso". Argentine Peso and Chilean Peso, but they're both called Peso.

The creators actually researched and named Peso after the currency intentionally and i'm dying. 😭✨‼️

As a Latina, i already knew this, but i thought i might as well share this piece of information to y'all because YES. Might make an in-depth post abt this later btw, especifically about how the education system works in both of those countries and an approximate age of how old Peso would be (or is) if he graduated from his Medical School THERE.

I personally headcanon that Peso is from Chile, but that's just me being biased because The Octonauts' VA'S from the Latin Spanish dubs are Chilean lol- (I'm neither from Chile or Argentina but the fact that the VA'S are Chilean makes me headcanon that 😭) (Most of the VA'S from the Latin Spanish dub of The Octonauts also worked for the Latin Spanish dub of Avatar: The Last Airbender, just another lil' funfact).

Anyways, enough rambling, this whole thing was pretty interesting to investigate even though i knew most of it (but i managed to investigate in a more in-depth manner) ngl.
