SUMMARY: Yuri doesn't give up before finding a solution for any of his patients. Even if that means he has to show up in your room in the middle of the night.
WORD COUNT: 1,726
WARNINGS: While it is not described in detail, there is an insinuation that reader has trauma that is causing night terrors.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Read on ao3 here. This is my bribe to Yuri. Yuri, please, come home to me sweetly tonight. I'll give you anything.
This was not a situation that Yuri Isami ever imagined he’d find himself in.
It was nights like this that Yuri wished that Mortkranken had a higher budget. That was a common complaint of his, but seeing the effects of the lack of facilities in Mortkanken compared to Darkwick General was different. Without a proper sleep lab to conduct sleep studies in, his only option was to monitor a patient regularly himself or refer them to Darkwick General.
Two weeks ago, he thought he might have to do exactly that when you came to see him. He didn’t typically do health checks on general students outside of the initial one required by Darkwick, but according to Jiro when he scheduled your appointment, you were particularly distressed. When you told Jiro it was regarding sleep issues, he figured Yuri would be best suited for the job.
Night terrors, though, were much more mundane than the usual sleep issues he researched and studied. That wasn’t to say that their causes were any easier to solve without thorough sleep studies and a proper history. He suggested that, if you wanted to do a full sleep study, going to Darkwick General was your best option. Your second-best option was allowing Yuri himself to monitor you on a semi-regular basis.
You had opted for the latter, much to his surprise - but he wasn’t going to deny a patient their request. Besides, he figured that keeping you in the same replicating circumstances would yield better results, anyway.
The night terrors appeared to come every night. He conducted regular checks himself or sent Jiro in his stead when he was focused on another task - and every night, around three in the morning, the night terror would hit. When you woke up, Jiro would conduct a full physical exam.
It didn’t appear to be rooted in sleep apnea or narcolepsy. That left a much less pleasant option - which was that night terrors were often rooted in trauma.
Yuri hadn’t asked you what they were about. The substance of the terrors was diagnostically irrelevant. Knowing that trauma was on the table, he wanted to avoid putting you in an uncomfortable position.
One of the first suggested treatments, the easiest route, was to wake you before the night terror occurred. They happened frequently enough around the same time that this was a feasible option, and Yuri suggested an alarm twenty-minutes before it usually hit.
That was the night he discovered that you were a heavy sleeper. Your alarm blared, but you remained asleep, only jostled awake screaming when another unfortunate episode took place.
Trial and error, though inevitable, was frustrating for him. It was easier to accept trial and error when his specimen wasn’t a student from his house who he could see the negative effects on. You were exhausted day in and day out, your dark circles worse than his own after nights of late-night research. He knew from both watching the process over the past two weeks and from your own admission that it had been weeks since your last night of full rest - possibly months.
That led to a slew of other issues. He was concerned about new or worsening depression, a weakened immune system, cardiovascular symptoms - he prescribed certain things to address your symptoms, but the root cause was stubbornly consistent.
Enough so that you appeared to be losing hope about avoiding them at all.
“Maybe I won’t have a good night’s sleep ever again. Being afraid to go to sleep and waking up at three in the morning is just my life now.”
That lack of hope had gotten under his skin in a way nothing else you’d said ever had before.
“Nonsense!” Yuri had insisted to you in a huff. “You’re not allowed to give up until all methods have been exhausted. If an alarm won’t wake you up, I’ll do the job myself!”
The offer had left his lips before he had a chance to second-guess it. Your eyes widened in shock, but once you accepted the offer, he couldn’t back out.
Now here he was, lying in his own bed, eyes on the clock.
He hadn’t had the chance to sleep well himself recently, if he was being honest with himself. Not only was there more to be done than usual this week in terms of experiments, but with your case… Yuri had found himself unusually preoccupied with it.
He was hoping that, if waking you up did prove successful, he could go right back to his room and have a rare night of sleeping in his actual bed rather than the lab.
Once it was only fifteen minutes until three in the morning, Yuri stirred himself from bed, loose notes falling to the floor. Even when he was in bed, work never stopped. Yuri was no stranger to falling asleep surrounded by loose notebook paper and a pen still loosely in his grip. He pulled his robe tighter around him - he’d usually never leave his room wearing only his pajamas and a robe, but surely his attire would be the last thing on your mind - and headed toward your room.
Mortkranken’s halls appeared to echo louder than usual as he walked toward your room. Yuri had to keep reminding himself that he had permission to enter, that he wasn’t trespassing into a student’s private quarters by doing this. You had wanted him there. That fact was key.
Your room wasn’t entirely dark. There was one light still left on at your desk, and a memory stirred that you hated waking up in the dark after night terrors. You always left a light on for that reason. Yuri’s eyes drifted to your sleeping form. This should only take a moment, Yuri reassured himself, drawing in a deep breath as he approached you. I’ll wake them up, make sure they’re okay, and then head back to my own room. It’s simple.
Yuri hesitated for a moment before reaching out, not yet making physical contact with you. This was… intimate, he suddenly realized. Not in the traditional sense of ‘intimacy’, but there was something about rousing you awake in the middle of the night to make sure you were alright that felt…
He couldn’t put a word to it, and that made heat slowly rise to his cheeks. I just need to get this over with, he decided, reaching forward and putting a hand on your shoulder, shaking you lightly. He didn’t want to raise his voice, afraid that would wake you up with too much of a shock, so he kept his voice soft as he called out your name.
At first, you didn’t move at all. Then your eyes snapped open with a startle, and you sat up quickly in your bed, pulling your covers closer to yourself. “Yuri!” you called out, voice still heavy with sleep. You didn’t seem scared, which Yuri was thankful for, but you still seemed surprised.
It made him more flustered to think that you forgot that he agreed to do this for you. Suddenly, more heat rose to his face, and he found himself tripping on his words. “I’m - you asked me to wake you up, did you not?!”
“Oh, right,” you relaxed, drawing in a deep breath. “Sorry, I forgot. I just - I thought… never mind what I thought.”
Yuri hummed, taking a moment to regain his own composure as he looked you up and down. “Your hands are shaking,” he noted. But no sweating, no flailing, no screaming… maybe I was right on time, Yuri thought. I should have brought my stethoscope to check on their heart rate.
“You startled me, that’s all,” you excused. “But… I think this helped. I didn’t have another nightmare.”
A smile crossed Yuri’s face as he made a gesture. “Of course it worked! I told you I’d land on an effective treatment, didn’t I? If you hadn’t slept through your alarm, this method would have proved efficient earlier. Will you listen to me from now on when I tell you not to give up hope?”
For the first time, Yuri saw a relieved smile on your face. It nearly made his confidence melt into something softer. “I’ll listen,” you told him, eyes bright for the first time since he met you in his clinic. “Thank you.”
He cleared his throat, shoving his hands nervously into the pockets of his robe. “Well! If that’s settled, then I’ll get going. I’ll see you -”
Before he could finish his sentence, you suddenly reached out, your hand wrapping around his wrist. “Wait!”
Yuri’s eyes widened, his entire face tinting pink. “What - what are you doing? What is it?”
“Will you stay? Please?” You asked, voice nearly pleading. “I know - I know it’s an unusual request. You can sit at my desk, if that’s easier. But I don’t want to go back to sleep alone. I’m… scared.”
Scared it’ll happen again anyway, Yuri thought. It made him wonder if this meant you saw him as a comforting presence.
If you did, he found himself oddly unopposed to that perception. Having someone - or not just someone, but you - see him as someone reliable, comforting… he wanted to live up to that expectation.
“I’ll stay,” Yuri pulled his wrist away from your grasp, grabbing your desk chair and pulling it closer to the bed. “It would be beneficial to ensure that this isn’t just a one-off, anyway. I’ll stay here in the event you have another episode.”
When he came closer again, you reached your hand out again. “Would it be a little too much to ask you to take my hand?”
Your voice was quiet, unsure, as if you expected him to lash out at the mere idea. It made his chest hurt. So, even if it was something he was unused to, he took your hand in his. “That’s fine. Just focus on going back to sleep.”
You nodded before smiling at him again. “I like this robe, by the way. It suits you,” your voice was relaxed again. “And you have soft hands.”
“Shut - no commentary! You’re supposed to be sleeping!” Yuri insisted.
“Sorry, sorry. Don’t leave, please.”
Your eyes were sad. Yuri sighed.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
When you eventually fell asleep, Yuri found himself finally drifting off too, falling asleep with your hand firmly in his.

You turn into a cat. You go to the ghouls. How will they react?
Featuring: Hotarubi, Obscuary, Mortkranken, Dionysia / Pt. 1
Cute Artwork by @mr-turtle20
Hotarubi
Subaru
“Meow!”
“Whoa! You scared me.”
He looks around.
“A-Are you lost?”
In response, you rub your head against his hand.
His anxious expression turns into a smile.
“If you don’t mind…would you like to join me for some tea?”
Subaru searches a few things up on his phone.
"Apparently, you can’t have sweets or tea…”
He pours water into a matching tea cup and elegantly places it in front of you.
“I’m sorry, this is all I can give you. I'll have something prepared for your next visit. ”
Haku
You find Haku laying down on the ground, taking a nap under the sun.
“Meow.”
He peeks with one eye.
“...Hm?”
He smiles sleepily.
“You're looking for a place to nap too?”
He lazily lifts an arm, inviting you in.
“C’mere.”
You curl up against him.
“Heh. Good choice.”
Zenji
Zenji’s playing out in the rain again.
“Meow.”
He turns and immediately beams.
“Oh my! Have your little ears led you here, to my Biwa playing?”
A sudden gasp.
“Oh, but look at you. You’re soaked.”
Zenji springs to his feet.
“Saburo! Protect the cat with your body while I’m gone. I shall have Haku bring an umbrella for you.”
He starts drifting off into the distance.
“Just wait, I’ll be back soon!”
Obscuary
Ed
The 400-year old vampire knows it’s you immediately.
“My. Hello there, Little Lady. You look quite lovely in cat-form as well.”
He gently scratches your ears.
“This won’t do. A lady shouldn’t sit on the floor.”
So he picks you up and puts you on his bed.
You'll be his company as he watches youtube videos for the rest of the day.
Rui
“Meow.”
“Whoa!” Rui jumps several feet back.
“You gotta be careful. I almost disintegrated you.”
But his surprise quickly turns to curiosity. He studies you from a distance.
“You look mega cute. Like cutie cute!” He grimaces. “Ugh. I wish I could touch you.”
Suddenly, his eyes light up.
“Just a sec!”
Rui comes back with a back scratcher. He extends it as far as it will go, and scratches your chin.
He looks like he’s in heaven.
“OMG. You’re so cute~”
Lyca
Lyca walks around campus with a puzzled expression.
“I swear I can smell her…”
“Meow.”
Lyca whirls around, ears perked and claws ready.
He growls. Cats are his natural enemy.
“What do you want–”
He pauses.
Sniff. Sniff.
“Why do you smell like…”
His eyes widen.
“D-Did you…eat her?!”
Mortkranken
Yuri
(For some reason, I feel like he’d be allergic to cats. He just seems like the type)
You hear a shriek.
You find Yuri looking at you in horror. A hand over his mouth.
“What is a creature like you doing here?!”
When you step closer, he jumps onto an operating table.
“S-Somebody! Get that thing out!”
…Later, he’s sneezing nonstop.
Jiro
Jiro finds you in the lab.
“I don’t know how you got in here, but you’ll comprise the lab’s sanitation. I’ll have to ask you to leave.”
He picks you up, carries you outside, and sets you down.
You expect him to go straight back inside.
Instead, he crouches down in front of you, quietly watching.
Suddenly…
“Pfft.”
You tilt your head.
“No…It’s just. You look like a certain someone."
Dionysia
Elias
“Meow.”
He looks down at his feet. You’re curled around his legs.
“To what do I owe this pleasure?”
He gives exceptionally good head pats. You can’t help but purr.
He chuckles.
“You’re a lovely little thing. You remind me of a certain someone.”
After a while, he lifts you onto his desk.
Elias picks up a broom. So random.
“I’ll sweep up these paper sticks. I can’t have you choking on them.” He smiles.
“Right…inspector?”
Jo
“Meow.”
You hop onto his desk.
“Hey, sweetheart. What are you doing here?”
He scratches your chin and strokes your back.
“Oh~Just a sec.”
He rummages through his closet before returning with some fabric.
A few minutes later, you’re dressed in ribbons.
He grins.
"I love making clothes for cuties like you. Next time you come, I'll have an outfit ready."
Mio
Mio’s working away…as usual.
You bite the hem of his jeans.
“Huh? What are you doing?”
You tug him to the nearest bench.
“...You want me to sit?”
“Meow.”
“Hahaha. Fine.”
He relaxes into the seat.
You lay on his lap.
“Forcing me to rest, huh?” He smiles softly. “You’re just like her…”
Shion
“Meow.”
He looks down and scowls.
“What is this ugly creature?”
Despite his words, he crouches down to your level.
He holds out his hand.
“Paw.”
You don’t move.
“Paw…if you don’t want to get hurt.”
You immediately give him your paw.
He laughs.
“...You’re her, aren’t you?”
How did he know???
Do you design a lot of characters living in not-modern eras and you’re tired of combing through google for the perfect outfit references? Well I got good news for you kiddo, this website has you covered! Originally @modmad made a post about it, but her link stopped working and I managed to fix it, so here’s a new post. Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:
OPEN ANY CATEGORY AND OH LORDY–
There’s a lot of really specific stuff in here, I design a lot of 1930s characters for my ask blog and with more chapters on the way for the game it belongs to I’m gonna be designing more, and this website is going to be an invaluable reference. I hope this can be useful to my other fellow artists as well! :)

Me ranting about Taiga's stigma (just having a thousand questions)
I was wondering just now if Taiga's stigma works past his own death or just up to the day he dies
What I mean is. Does he see the future just for his own life or for other things too? Can he for example see a future where he dies and still can see more after that happens?
Can he see other people's future? Or just the future that affects him? Do the visions he sees stop up to the point he dies or can he literally see visions from like hundreds of years to come?
Also if he can see multiple futures, then can he see multiple ways that he himself and others can die? And he has to keep up with all of them to identify which one is currently happening or what it's changing to. Can he see them separately or is he actually seeing it all in one go jumbled up in his head? And he has to actually make out all the different ones + all the different timelines
Also is he seeing it in a linear pattern where he can see all events moving forward until a point or is he just seeing one singular image of a scene in the future? Like can he see the whole process of how things happen and lead to one outcome or is he just seeing random images and has to piece them together? Maybe it's not even clear images but ideas or sensations, or even intuitions? Or is it an actual clear thing like it's happening in his brain or right in front of him?
Does he also see the same ones happening multiple times? Like if he uses it now then a minute later will he see the exact same thing? And he also said how far depends on his mood, so does a bad mood equals farther or closer? How do you categorise bad or good moods or just overall to clasify how far it goes? If bad moods mean he can't see that far ahead, if he uses it now, then in a minute later he's in a better mood can he see the same thing but farther ahead?
There's a new years homescreen voiceline for him where we say we're going to a shrine and he says something along the lines of "You don't need to go to a shrine I'll tell you myself. You'll have an ok year". Does that mean he can see other people's future on demand and not only his own? Or was he just seeing our future based on our interactions with him?
And if he can see the future does he actually see a possibility of being with MC? In at least one future he sees there has to be a chance he actually dates her or something right? Or at least maybe any of the other ghouls. Is that why she keeps asking her question like that? Because he's using MC as a base to check what timeline they're in or what future is coming? LIke he asks if she has a man because he wants to know what timeline he's in, in case she's dating one of the ghouls
Does that mean he can possibly see every option we are given in the dialogue in the story? I mean, when we are given various options to choose from to reply to the ghouls. Is he actually capable of seeing all our different responses like we can? What I mean is, if he used his stigma before we make a choice on what dialogue we want can he actually see all our different possible answers? Like how I personally go back to the different options to see how he replies to all of them. Would he find it weird that sometimes our dialogue never changes, but rarely it changes to various options? Or maybe it's just not noticeable
How does he notice changes? How does he know when a timeline is constant, or when it's a consistent path towards one outcome? Does he just spend the day using his stigma at different times to make sure that things change or not? Is that why he's so tired all the time and moody? He just spends the day making sure what path it's all on and what the outcome is at every moment. When he sleeps can he actually see all of this and dream of all the different timelines and futures? Does it emotionally affect him seeing certain people possibly die or go through different things over and over or does he recognise it's just futures he can avoid?
How vivid are these visions too? Does he at times find it difficult to recognise what's really happening or what isn't? Can he make out the difference between vision and reality? Or do the visions just feel like reality in the moment? Can he also use his stigma without saying it out loud? Sometimes it seems like the way he behaves he's using it in his head, but other times he just says it out loud. Why does he sometimes do it in his head but others out loud?
Maybe it sounds crazy and stupid but I'm actually curious, that was a loooot of questions. No wonder his stigma messes with his head, it messes with mine just trying to comprehend it 😭

alright, i'll be the one to say it. ao3 and tumblr becoming "mainstream" did so much damage to the community and the writers. i have seen loads of videos and posts about:
1. people hating on writers and fics. writing is something we do for free and for fun. if you stumble upon a fanfic that isn't necessarily your cup of tea or you just don't like, scroll. dont read it. literally leave their page. you don't know if this could be the author's first work that they're so excited about, you dont know if the language they're writing in isn't their first language, you dont know that the writer could be a literal teen and loads of other reasons. fanfictions don't HAVE to be perfect. you write what you want to write because we do it for fun and enjoyment and we want to share that to the world. seriously, what is the wrong with that?..
2. x reader consumers getting WAY too entitled. the number of tiktoks i've seen that say "i run a strict program when it comes to reading fanfics." girl you aint running shit. this is FAN FICTION you're reading. F A N F I C T I O N. there is no denying that most fanfiction writes are beyond talented but just because you read one fanfic that exceeds your expectations doesn't give you the right to talk down on others that don't. people have their own personal writing style, their way of doing things and you talking shit on that isn't right.
at the end of the day, we are all humans, reading and writing is what we do and what we're meant to do. and for you to talk shit about a person WRITING is so insane. we are humans. not some robots that you can tell what to do so you can consume it.
i've seen so so many authors take down their fanfics and losing all motivation to write because of a hate comment. DONT LIKE DONT READ‼️
and to every author reading this, this community values your work and your contribution. we love u and, please, never let anyone's negative words have an effect on you.
Anywayss I'd like to make a request of ghouls randomly walking just to find mc in a secluded place with a general students who called her just to bully her, the ghouls walk on the general students attempting to push mc to the ground!! What would their reaction be??
And thank you<33

‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈: 𝑻𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒂, 𝑱𝒊𝒓𝒐, 𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒔, 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒂
Honestly?? The audacity to bully MC???? While knowing she has ghouls backing her up??? Crazy 😮💨
Taiga Hoshibami
*gun noises* done.
okay maybe not immediately at least but I think things could get pretty ugly, especially if he's in a really bad mood
if the students have their survival instincts intact they will make a way for him to reach you
if not - oh well it's not a problem for him either, it's Taiga :)
now, seeing you scared pisses him off and that's when the said escalation can happen
gives you a quiet assessment, his eyes narrow, making sure you're not hurt
throws an arm over your shoulder, bringing you close to his side
and then.. everything depends on you
"kitty cat.. what should we do with all those dead-brained bugs? Want me to give you my gun? Or should I put bullets in their heads myself?"
you can see the students already regret every life decision that led up to this moment
if you decide you just want to leave and have some peace - you'll have it
but you're definitely sleeping in his room the following night. Sorry safety precautions!
And don't be surprised when you later start hearing about mysterious series of general students getting their asses beat..
and they turn out to be the students who bullied you. What a coincidence!
Jiro Kirisaki
seeing you stand all alone, crowded by some general students, makes his chest tighten weirdly
he doesn't fully understand why, but that doesn't matter now
effortlessly pushes through the crowd to reach you
at first he acts like the other people don't even exist?
he gives you a slow look from head to toe while asking how are you feeling, if you're hurt
only after making sure you really are alright (aside from feeling scared of course) he turns to look at the crowd
then proceeds to lecture them about bullying, calling out their own cowardice - forming a group just to face one person
basically making them all realize they are in truth the ones fearing you, only the group made them feel more confident
"Considering most of you shake at the sight of a needle, I would suggest leaving her alone if you do not wish to face something much more painful than a small sting"
did he just threaten them? Maybe. Maybe he can't help but feel protective over you
takes you to Mortkranken after the incident, insisting a basic check up is in order. He needs to make sure you really are okay.
Elias Pratt
the worst thing about him is that the gentle smile he always has on his face doesn't vanish upon walking on the scene
it stays perfectly in place, paired with an icy glare that could freeze the entire place in seconds
it makes him look much more unpredictable
"politely" asks what is going on as he makes his way to you
his eyes soften when he looks at you, asking if you are alright, making a show of kissing your hand
the silence from general students is deafening
"Ah, it'so quiet now.. Am I right to assume you are all merely auditioning for the role of a clown in Dionysia, hoping to use her connections? Because if so I have to say, I'm the one in charge of.. handling such matters"
the students seem to perfectly understand what he means, colour draining from their faces
and oh how he enjoys their fear
then without another word he offers you his arm, calmly leading you away from the scene, once again making sure you're okay and taking you to Dionysia with him
if the next morning you hear some rumors about Shion going on rampage targeting that specific group of students.. oh well. Elias might have told him a word too much. Oops?
Lucas Errant
he looks curious at first when he approaches the group, only for his eyes to widen when he notices you standing in the middle of it all
he would like to believe you are simply enjoying some popularity, but your troubled expression tells him everything he needs to know
politely yet sternly asks the group to step away from you
as he reaches you he extends his hand in a reassuring gesture
and now while standing by your side, it is time to address the bullies
"I think I understand what was going on here. And I am only going to ask you to stop once. She does not deserve this. If anyone here disagrees, I challenge them to duel me"
murmurs die down immediately. They see how protective the usually kind ghoul got over you
and of course, neither of them is ready to face it
before leading you away, he warns the group that the Captains of their houses will be informed and expected to draw consequences of their actions. He will not stand for this
afterwards, he offers to stay by your side as long as you need. He'll make sure you're safe.
Hiiiii, I wanted to request some jiro x yuri x mc, if you're interested in writing poly? óvò more specifically established jiro x yuri trying to coax oblivious/low self esteem mc into dating them <3 if not, thank you anyway!! I love your writing :D
Butterflies - Jiro x Yuri x MC Headcanons
Ft. Jiro, Yuri

A/N: I was nervous writing this, I know a bit about polyamory through a couple of content creators, so this was interesting to write! I even had a couple people read over it, so I hope I understood the assignment o///o Enjoy it! ( >3<) ~♥︎

♥︎ It wasn’t exactly a secret that Jiro and Yuri were together, they weren’t too public about it, but there were definitely signs. You’ve walked in on Yuri quickly letting go of Jiro’s hand, Yuri pushing away Jiro when the door opens, and Yuri‘s half baked attempt at hiding his embarrassment. Actually, it may be Yuri that’s keeping it a secret, because Jiro doesn’t seem like he cares who knows.
♥︎ You’ve noticed that they’ve been very interested in you lately, and are a bit confused… They invite you over more, and Yuri looks like he wants to ask something, but refrains from doing so. Jiro has been treating you with more delicacy, and Yuri makes you assist him more often than usual.
♥︎ Jiro asks if he can come over, because he needs to talk with you. It doesn’t take long for him to arrive, and it makes you anxious what he—of all people—wants to talk about.
♥︎ He confesses that him and Yuri have been together for a bit of time, and they both found out that they like you. He doesn’t want to pressure you into doing anything that you don’t want to do, but he wanted to propose that the three of you could be a triad. You stood there, head on the brink of explosion, and took time to think of what to say. You quietly ask Jiro if you could have some time to think about it, and Jiro left without saying much else.
♥︎ You were insanely confused, and your heart was beating a hundred miles a minute to wrap your head around what Jiro was asking. Both of them liked you, and they want you to be in a three person relationship?! You honestly thought they were joking, but neither of them are the type to do such a thing. I mean, how could they be interested in you like that?
♥︎ You spent all day in your bed, not sure what to think, or what’s real. You were nervous to ask, but you had to confirm with Yuri that their proposal was genuine.
♥︎ He took a while to type, and his text summed up to ‘how oblivious are you to think that we’d joke around. Yes, it’s real.’
♥︎ You always thought both of them were cute, but you were under the impression that they were exclusive… and monogamous.
♥︎ You weren’t too sure about the idea, so you looked to Jiro to express your confusion. He pulled you aside in Yuri’s office, and you find out that it’s mainly Yuri’s idea to keep things a secret for the time being.
♥︎ “If you don’t like the idea, that’s fine. But, you can try it out, and if you don’t like it then you don’t have to stay with us. We weren’t expecting you to give us an answer right away. We like you, and we’d appreciate it if you didn’t think it was a joke.”
♥︎ Yuri walks into the office with an inquiry for Jiro, but he catches on that you’re here to discuss their proposal, and he tries to make a 180. Jiro stops grabs him and forces him to stay in the conversation, because you seemed unsure of yourself. Yuri looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole, but he put on a brave face for the sake of making it less awkward for the two of you.
♥︎ You ask how a three person relationship would even work, and Yuri said it’s like a triangle. You date Yuri and Jiro, Yuri and Jiro date each other. Communication is important, and your boundaries are important, like they would be if you were in a monogamous relationship. It’s up to you to make the choice, while it’s a new concept to them as well, they’re more than willing to learn alongside you.

If u ever get the time to do this before ur request close can you do malleus, leoan, and Floyd (not all in the like Sam relationship idk if I have to specify that?) w/ a reader whose like a genius but also the dumbest person ever (ex: can do mathematics good enough to put eistestin to shame, will always ask if she can no longer drink smth because it’s chunk, tastes like eggs, and expired 42yrds ago) u don’t have to do it if u don’t want to but if u do tyyyy!:333
This is so hilarious, also SORRY FOR SUPER- SUPER LONG DELAY- 😭😭 I was super busy with so much stuff and trying to catch up with old friends, life is being such a bitch too so- I was off from Tumblr for a LONG time...
TWST with a dumb genius
Leona Kingscholar
Leona didn’t really care much about how you seem to catch on to all the subjects here, although he will admit he’s impressed a little that you can do “anything”.
And by “anything”, he means purely academics.
We haven’t talk about how his normal conversations with you are like that are NOT related to schoolwork.
Because MAN-
What are you saying?? TT o TT
"I got this weird looking object from Sam's Shop that had a warning label in yellow and black with a skull face saying 'Do Not Use', do you think it's safe to use it?"
Leona gets a headache with each question you ask because- like- why???
"What do you think, dumbass??"
He might come off harsh with his words, but he genuinely is worried for you sometimes. What if you get hurt because you can't see the obvious? It could've been completely avoided! He'll pull you from the collar to stop you from going elsewhere or take your phone to make the right decision with you, basically taking the wheel in his hands which is something he doesn't do.
Sometimes he makes Ruggie and Jack look after you when he's too lazy busy to do so, because hey, he still cares. <3
Floyd Leech
He honestly doesn't care much that you're smart. To him, it just means you're like Azul.
Floyd thinks it's hilarious how you're on top of your class, smart in all the subjects but when you're out of class, you just lose all that brain juice and ask him questions like:
"Floyd, I left this yogurt drink out on my counterforce five weeks and just realised I forgot to drink it. You think I should? I dunno why Azul san keeps saying I shouldn't."
"Go ahead, Shrimpy!~"
Floyd will let you do stupid things so long as you'll instantly regret it later (like spitting the drink out right after because it was super gross).
He just laughs about it and tell you it's obviously NOT a good idea to do that and would tease you incessantly about it for the next two weeks.
However, a truly dumb and dangerous idea would make him straighten up and lock the frick in, because no way would he risk your safety like that.
Sure, maybe for other people, but not you.
He'll physically lift you up and drag you to the Monster Lounge.
"Alright Shrimpy, maybe you need some food to be more awake and think about this for once, hmm?~" <3
Malleus Draconia
He finds it fascinating how you're one of the smartest people he knows... and somehow the dumbest.
Like Lilia is smart and does (mostly) harmless dumb things but he does it on purpose while knowing the consequences just for the fun of it maybe except cooking.
But you... genuinely think it's alright.
"Malleus! My broomstick snapped in half but I think I can still takeoff from the cliff. Come on, hop on!"
"I do not think this is anywhere near safe, My Friend..."
He might consider giving you some enchanted items to keep you safe from your... endeavours.
He likes that he can always come to you for a healthy, intelligent conversation about gargoyles or have someone KNOW what they're doing with spells and what not, but outside of NRC? You're like a completely new person, and he doesn't want to say you're dumb... but you kinda are. It really makes him feel bad that he even thinks of such, but come onnnnn-
PUT AWAY THAT EXPIRED MILK- DO NOT MAKE A MILKSHAKE FROM IT-
Malleus isn't exactly always worrying about you frantically but he does get gradually more concern each time you tell him about a very obviously bad idea that you think is safe or fun or whatever.
No, it's not-
He might gently steer you away from the subject and suggests he helps, or simply, just don't drink the five week expired yogurt drink, please-
He obviously wants to make sure you're safe because he cares about you a lot and doesn't want to see you hurt. <3
