Okay. I fear I am predictable with this one. But can you blame me? This is one of THE best cards. Literally so gorgeous. I think about this card a lot. The setting... Alan looking back... those shoulders.... his tattoo on display... the snow.... it's all so gorgeous. I remember seeing one of the infamous tkdb ads where he has someone with him in this card and have always been tempted to get a commission or trade based off that stupid ad. One comment and I'll do it! Dear post reader, you can enable me now! Do it! Enable me-

For Jiro...

Ah, yes. The Jiro card with, in my opinion, the most BDE. Somehow it isn't his onsen card that takes that slot, it's this one. He's serving insane face in this card. Also I'm always a sucker for the art trope of hands reaching out and grabbing someone. I don't know what it is about it... but I love it. NOT TO MENTION THIS CARD EATSSSS IN GOC AND ARENA!! I need to fully awaken him on my main server BADLY.

For Mio...

It may be slim pickings for Mio, but DAMN did they deliver on this card! I loved the lighting, Mio is beautiful, and the flower framing and the birds... ugh. Gorgeous. Mio is one of the most beautiful ghouls in this game EASY.

Okay. Overall, I take how it treats me in Arena/GOC into account since I am competitive. So my winner has to be...

THIS CARD. MY SAD YURI CARD.

First of all, I pulled 3 copies of him on a server on release. And even without being fully awakened, this card was TEARING IT UPPPPP FOR ME. I was taking out teams I had absolutely no business winning. I was a mere 36M team taking out up to 70M opponents with cards that should have been eating me UP. But no, this Yuri was pulling through like no one's business. Not to mention, all the warding cards from this set are so beautiful...

Also. Ugh. The absolute DRAMA of this card. Yuri's tears. he's on his knees. The blood framing. Jiro's hands. The lilies. I DASFHGAJKD LOVE THE GALA OUTFITS. Okay. I'm going to calm down now. Deep breaths.

Alan... Alan smiling... the sunset... everything about this is top tier. I cried a lil the first time I saw it, I won't lie. I love Alan so dearly and we don't see enough of him soft... and this is as soft as I've seen him. One look like this and I melt. GOD. I love this man.

Okay. I... have a problem. Let's just start off with that before we dive in.

We shall start with my first haul from @kusanagihaku !! I kind of wish I got more stickers here... because I put them on water bottles and learned the hard way they are NOT waterproof !! That's on me though!! Most have managed to survive through careful cleaning, glue and tears. I also used that tote bsg every single day for MONTHSSS to take my laptop to work and I love her dearly. She's retired from daily use, but still sees the light of day every so often!!

Next is my mini Etsy haul from @katokathy !! I FEAR USING THESE STICKERS BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE SO THEY DON'T HAVE A HOME YET BUT I DO HAVE A PLAN FOR THEM!! I want to get more stickers. I love them. Help.

We go next to my bracelets! These were made for me by the lovely Angel on Ko-Fi! The top is for Alan with a sun charm because he's my sunlight, and the bottom is for Yuri with a moon charm because he's my moonlight!

I don't know if I've ever explained those nicknames... eh, maybe one day I will!

Next... the Alan hoard.

The giant 18in crochet plush is also from the lovely Angel on Ko-Fi! He came with a jacket but it's summer so it's off! And let me tell you... the amount of details on him is INSANE. Angel knocked it out of the park. Literally the most insane thing in my collection and I love him dearly.

The smaller Alan plush is from this Etsy store! I love him. The shipping was evil since he came from Japan but I went halfsies with a friend who got Haru from the same shop so it was doable.

The standee of my s/i and Alan is, of course, custom made! The original artist is Ogoo on VGen and I cannot reccomend their work enough. It is so, so cute. I asked for permission before custom printing!

The hanging Alan frog and Alan dog is from E's shop! E is the sweetest. Literally a ray of sunshine. And their art and merch is all just too cute.

Speaking of E... this is not in my possession YET but on the @tkdbcafe server, they made me this WONDERFUL ita bag in a trade! LOOK AT THIS THING. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I STARE AT THIS ONCE A WEEK AND YEARN FOR IT TO BE IN MY HOME. He is coming home soon. I will be unwell.

Some... suggestive content in this one! But the Yuri and Jiro standees are custom printed with the artist's permission, both made as gifts on the @tkdbcafe server! The little Jiro keychain in the center was custom printed from a commission from Au on VGen! The hanging Jiro and Yuri as well as the Jiro frog is once again from the lovely E!

This Towa plush is from lovely Sakura Garden fanproject on discord! Maid dress was from Etsy... he came unclothed.

Speedrunning the last three. This Jiro and Yuri standee is from this storefront! The Yuri plush button was custom made based off art I got from @noctysite in a trade!

It's easily "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" This warding card sends me.

First of all, the name is so funny to me. I imagine that's just what is running through Yuri's head in this very moment.

Secondly, I love the idea of Kaito being the one to catch Yuri reading manga when he's supposed to working on something else. I love moments like this that show that Yuri really does have more interests outside his work, even if that is his main passion. I also love the idea of Yuri and Kaito as friends. Even if they're not best friends, like... I think it would be fun to see them interact more!

Lastly... I love Kaito's expression here. He seems so confident in himself to catch Yuri doing this. Kaito went from screaming and running away from Yuri after accusing him of inhumane experiments to having this teasing "gotcha!" moment with him.

I... didn't intend this... but it's the main card of that warding!

First of all, this outfit is so good. I love it so much, and I love seeing Yuri wear something we may have never seen as his style otherwise. And it suits him! It looks DAMN good on him!

Second, his eyes here... are so beautiful.... my breath is taken away. My god. Yuri has the prettiest and most piercing eyes. They are basically glowing. I could look into those eyes, listen to him yap, and not hear a single word that he said.

THIRD - LOOK AT THIS CONFIDENCEEEE. I KNOW IT'S NOT ACCURATE TO HOW HE WAS IN THE EPISODE BUT MY GODDD IT'S ATTRACTIVE. LIKE WOW. I LOVE SEEING HIM CONFIDENT AND SURE OF HIMSELF.

Okay, so I can't remember where I first read this theory, but it's about the Like Dove being some sort of conduit that spies on the general students!

This is the face of an evil spy. I know it. I know it's true. I have no evidence other than look at it. The students think "oh cute, anomalous bird that has to do with crushes" but no... no... it's a SPY I KNOW IT-

My runner up is a theory that I don't know if I've ever seen anywhere online... but I've held it close to my heart since the prologue...

And it's that Luca's anomolous monster who's tied to him is his brother. Like... he wished for something to do with his family or brother and it made his brother an anomaly who is tied to him forever now. And that's also why Darkwick won't let him use the radar to locate his brother... because his brother has been with him all along!
