kain is actually a ridiculously funny “id rather die than talk about/deal with my feelings” icon. he never tells cecil abt his insecurities ever which leads him to be manipulated by the big bad but when hes aware that his envy is gonna come out hes like. “fuck. shit. its gonna happen again” but doesnt let the others know. he gets to fight and defeat his dark side in a trial but once he wins and exits and meets up w the others he goes “nothing happened in there”. when he finally gets free of mind control he goes “just fuckign kill me if i betray you again”. once its over he still feels immensely guilty and doesnt attend his bff’s wedding even though they clearly forgive him and he fucks off into the mountains for 17 years where he never talks to anyone, ever, only to return when his dark side has a physical form and helps out his bff’s son without telling him who he is. he just goes “hey im gonna help you i have no name now” and after THAT ordeal he goes into the Dissidias and goes around never telling anyone abt his well-intentioned plans even though they all think of him as a traitor

Hey so did WWX eat the corpses of the Yunmeng Jiang Sect when he got thrown into Burial Mounds? Because if that place is absolutely overrun by demonic energy then there shouldn’t be a lot of edible food in the area except for the freshly dead sect members.
