I sort of lost my steam on this one, hence the lack of background.

As I mentioned on twitter the other day, I really do miss Mollymauk very keenly still, and I’m never getting over his queer purple ass.

New DnD Campaign = New toon. 

I drew this before 115 aired and we didn’t know what would happen with Velora. I wasn’t gonna finish it but here we are. Percy seems to encourage limited colours out of me and I kinda like it. 

Okay so

1) Why does everything look so much better on my cintiq?

2) Vax has always been a weird one for me. When I started Critting, something about the way he would take his dear people aside, and speak to them so so quietly, and so intensely, the way he’d trip over words and talk in circles,  stirred something uncomfortable in my gut.

It took me a while to realize that it made me uncomfortable because it reminded me of how my father used to speak - low, intense and meandering.

The realization made me feel a lot better; it sort of amused me after awhile. Being able to hear even the odd echo of my dad was soothing and helpful, as I was (and am) tangled up in a bad depressive spiral.

And then we got into the 100′s. Vax died, and made a deal that culminated last thursday. It felt like I was, in a way, watching my father die again. Impotent in the face of death. Angry at it, despite knowing of the inevitability.

It was strange. I still don’t know how I feel about it.
