There has been more warmth in my chest with you than should be possible. I will burn with all of this. I'll hold on, someone will have to break my hands before I surrender. But then, I should admit, I'd bite down on it with all the strength of my jaw if it slipped out between my mutilated hands. 

There will never be a funnier joke than the one I think of when I'm aching at the thought of you. It's so funny how I cannot comprehend my heart in any other vessel but in your hands. The punchline is the way your hand rests over mine. It's a joke, it must to be something I can laugh at. Damn you. 

For some reason that I can't explain you both facilitate my morals and knead them into something truer that I had realised. You have softened me. You have whet my tongue to your name. I'll carefully lick the drops of you dry when your damn breaks and chew through the throat of anyone who strings their vocal chords against you.

Do better the next time you try to kill me. Kill me when you roll your eyes at me but smile. Take my life between your teeth and pull it out of my mouth because I want to spend forever stuck in your teeth. Twist my flesh off my bones when you hug me back in place. Scratch me out of my own scalp, I promise to crease well into the lifeline of your hands. Slide your fingers between the bars of my ribs and don't let go.
