Getting away with it, all messed up...

So here are five of my current favourite songs:

For the last 4 days, I've been at Primavera Sound, in Porto. I wasn't a die hard fan of any of the bands, to be honest, even though I was looking forward to see the headliners - The xx, Gorillaz and Massive Attack - which are bands I enjoyed very much, but weren't on a regular basis on my playlist (except for The xx some years ago).

And then, there were IDLES. I knew of their existence through a friend who really likes them and when I stayed at her place, last year, for Evil Live (where I saw Till's band for the first time), she put one of their concerts on and I liked it. Still, never pursued more into their music. But, when I decided to buy the ticket to Primavera and realised that they were playing there as well, I thought "well, I gotta check them out".

During the Festival, my will to see them increased, for some reason, and they became the band I was more excited to see in the second day (even more so than Massive Attack, if I'm being honest). And boy, was I right to be excited! Let's just say I fell very much in love with these guys after an awesome concert in the secondary stage and am now on a musical quest through their albums, videos and interviews.

2 years ago today, I was watching these guys, under the pouring rain and having the time of my life. 🖤
