So so many! Ok I’m going to reblog this ask and do it fandom per fandom bc otherwise it’s going to be too long
The main ones I’m going to do are for :
-you can’t mention non canon ships and not have me bring up the Marauders fandom that’s almost all of them
-the Riordanverse
-the Shadowhunter Chronicles
-Grishaverse?? But there’s like 1
-Other fandoms/miscellaneous
I just know I’m going to forget one of the ships and I’m going to be so upset about it. And sure you could argue that if I forgot it then it’s not a true favorite but I forget stuff all the time.
Ok this is my Marauders iteration bc it takes less time to think about since like 99% of the ships are non canon
In no particular order
Dorlene - for a ship I like this much I don’t write enough fics of them mostly bc I like their rivals to lovers dynamic most when it comes to how they get together (Quidditch rivals to lovers Dorlene has my heart!!!) and I can’t write enemies to lovers bc I have zero skills for writing witty banter
Pandalily - the ship I’ve written the most fics and the most words about 🫶💜 love them
Wolfstar - the ship that got me into this fandom
Nobleflower - how can I not love them??
Rosekiller - wrote a fic for them this year actually! My first mlm fic and I found myself going umm how do I write from the perspective of a someone who likes guys?? Helpppp and that’s when I went hmm perhaps I am not bi/pan as I had thought 😂 I do not have these problems when I write wlw
Marylily / Saintflower - was more invested in Pandalily but my beloved moot @knighthans blogs about them so much I can’t not love them. Also bc of @mountainrusing’s fics they’re all so beautiful go read them!
Marylene - another ship I didn’t consider at first until two fics (1) & (2) convinced me!
Dorlily - don’t read nearly enough about this ship but the concept of it is so intriguing to me
Peter x James - did not expect this but I read this fic from the 2025 Tales of Tails Fest that was so good it convinced me. And I was falling off the Jegulus train anyway (oh dear I’m going to get hunted for sport ok don’t kill me fellow Marauders fans I literally wrote a Jegulus fic like three years ago)

it took baby narcissa a long time to learn how to walk
not because she found it difficult or anything, no, she just simply never needed to walk; someone would always be carrying her, whether it was bellatrix cradling her baby sister close to her chest or andromeda giving her piggy-back rides, even druella could never seem to put narcissa down
eventually, she did learn and as they got older her sisters would slowly stop carrying her around places
but when she started dating lucius her feet would hardly ever touch the ground. lucius would carry her wherever she wanted to go, he would spin narcissa around in his arms until she laughed; he loved doing these small things for her, he would do anything for her. when they got married, lucius swept narcissa off her feet and carried her bridal-style into their new home.
because Narcissa always was and always will be a princess
who drives for each marauders group:
-Marauders: James 100% bc Sirius’ is downright maniacal behind a wheel, Peter is dead terrified of driving, and Remus just doesn't want to
-Valkyries: anyone but Marlene, who was banned after she completely totaled their last car. Mary prefers to sit in the passenger seat and sketch, so Lily does most of the driving, but alternates with Dorcas when she joins them
-Skittles: if Regulus is in the car, his control issues mean he's driving. If not, Evan or Dorcas or the only ones allowed to drive his car, bc Barty has a habit of drag racing and Pandora is much too easily distracted
this is all so real, especially “Barty has a habit of drag racing” that i read the wrong way

love the idea of remus and lily being best friends.
best friends like they know all about each other's allergies and sleeping habits. best friends like lily changes in front of remus and he doesn't even blink. like their idea of hanging out is doing chores together.
they partner up in basically every class they have since third year. lily knows about remus's feelings for sirius over a year before he even realizes them.
remus is the only one who knows about the embarrassing sex dream lily had about barty, and lily keeps the secret about remus kissing frank at the end of fifth year. best friends in the sense that remus is the one who drives her to get her first piercing at sixteen. their first time getting wasted is together.
lily learns everything about werewolves that is documented and improves her healing skills just to be able to help him. remus discovers the nastiest spells there are just so he can get back at every slytherin who ever looks at her the wrong way.
they have so many inside jokes that it's hard for everyone else to keep up with their conversations.
