Amazing
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE QUEEN FOR THIS
a tutorial on rescuing someone from an uncomfortable or dangerous situation
Damn. She did everything right. Yes, this is dangerous. But even a violent man is still human and can be outplayed. Predators rely on a pattern or routine. Disrupt the routine, and the predator freezes up. Once you disrupt them, don't give them time to develop a response. Be bold. Be decisive. Talk loud. Act fast.
How should I approach this as a man? I wouldn’t want to make her more uncomfortable but I also wouldn’t be able to physically intimidate anyone because I’m short and un-athletic.
Talking to the woman is going to be hit or miss, just because she won't know if you are an "out if the frying pan, into the fire" situation. BUT, you could still go with "thanks for waiting, you ready to go? Oh, who's this?" And if she walks with you, you can say that she looked uncomfortable. I had a guy once ask if I could help with his phone to get me away from a conversation. OR: talk to the dude. "Hey man, can you give me directions to this place? Don't I know you from somewhere?" Etc. Then she has time to escape. There are no set in stone answers, even if you don't handle it perfect, if she gets out of the situation safely, count it as a win
Thank you for the response!!
Talking to the dude works!
One of my colleagues spotted a woman facing slightly away from a man who was talking to her, who was scary close. She looked uncomfortable and made eye contact. He noticed the guy was wearing a Broncos jacket and nonchalantly passed them both by and started the sports speak to the dude, like "aw bro did you see the defense last night? Hell of a time to he a Bronco fan, right?" And stood slightly behind the guy so he had to turn away from the woman. She said a cheeky "I'm not into sports, g'night!" comment and slipped away to the elevator. The dude looked super pissed but just stalked away to his car.
What was he supposed to do, admit to bad intentions?
Sometimes you don't need to be the savior, but a distraction.

Spoilers Red Rising ³
Okay
Okay
I am okay
I AM SUPER OKAY
I just...
I am not okay
I AM CRYING AND I CAN'T READ NOTHING MORE
I am just....
Sorry it's just
Ragnar, fuck
Ragnar was... Was the best. Really, the best. I loved him, I didn't expect what Pierce did. Never. Like..why? I know it has a propose, it's fine but
I don't... I am just rereading and crying and sobbing while I feel angry and mad and happy and sad. FUCK, PIERCE YOU'R GOOD.
I finish red Rising trilogy and I don't understand why does people ship roque and tactus. They almost don't even talk to each other??
Darrow is clueless to things that do not concern his survival or his mission, but Roque and Tactus had a fling of sorts that they both kept private more or less. You notice it more from Roque's side, but Tactus' behaviour - asking about Roque at the gala in a certain tone and then changing his mind out of the blue, looking for Roque when they are trying to escape Luna, but finding him with Quinn and getting jealous and craving attention.
Pierce confirmed that Roque had a thing for Tactus, hence why he mourned him as a lover when he died, as he did Lea and Quinn.
I don't ship them, I mean...even Tactus can do better than Roque (and he knew it), but they did have an affair that was romantic only on Roque's side (although his feelings are debatable - he is a shallow bitch).
I do believe everyone saw it, except Darrow, but that's an ongoing trope until...he starts paying attention properly, because he isn't in grief/survival mode anymore.
Gosh, I remember all this scenes
ALL OF THEM
Thinking now, I actually ship them, but really? Tactus was way more... More loyal, even with all he had done.
I finish red Rising trilogy and I don't understand why does people ship roque and tactus. They almost don't even talk to each other??
Tumblr it's literally the most crazy site I've always be part of. Like. There are so many gays.
I am scared. Really scared, cause I don't even have an idea of what will happen to Darrow in Morning Star, and fuck. Someone helps me.

Sevro: Seriously, I hate everybody, no exceptions.
Darrow: Are you saying you hate Victra?
Sevro: I am saying... I AM SAYING...
*Victra enters in the room, angry with something*
Sevro: I AM SAYING VICTRA IS A BITCH!
Victra: Alright, alright, baby boy, just shut up, I am not talking to you now.
Sevro *blushes*: Oh, I am... Sorry?
Victra: Why are you still here????

Is there a website to look up models or people to draw, with gender, ethnicity, and age filters. (if possible)?
For example if a wanted to make a cartoon character realistic and use a real person for reference or to edit the photo to look like them?
I’ve been just googling white 20s male, black female 40s etc. (can’t find any good references for kids either) and been sifting through the results.

I can't be the only one who saw the face of Empire Dawn when he saw the girl of the garden (zoora?) And his face when he saw the man behind her. Like.... Can we just talk abt how he literally lose his air when he saw the man?
Sorry it was just too gay for me.
(ep.4)
I made this because I, too, have nothing to do with myself at the moment. Use your time better. Read some thicccc books.

Consumer Advice: if you like Red Rising, try these books!
Red Rising is my favorite series of all time, and since I first read it, I have always being searching for something similar. However, due to the contained scale of its cult fandom, it’s really hard to find anything useful. After 2.5 years of digging, I have now gathered a bunch of books which - for one thing or another - my be of your tastes, my fellow Howlers!
The First Law World by Joe Abercrombie
Read this if you like: Dark Age; Sevro & the Howlers; nasty, morally grey characters; people with hygiene problems; slow burn plot; hyper focus on characters and their personal journey.
The First Law is a grim dark fantasy series set in a 18th century inspired world with Norsemen, Flesh Eaters, demons and thousand years old magicians. Abercrombie is a master in writing complex, three dimensional characters, be them hideous, pompous or actually good people (but, in reality, you will not find many of those). If you don’t like people with... questionable hygiene, steer clear.
The series is composed of a trilogy (the OG books), 3 stand-alone novels and a sequel trilogy (the last book is hitting shelves in September 2021). The recommended starting point is ‘The Blade Itself’.
The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson
Read this if you like: Golden Son; Darrow-type characters; brooding; crazy world building; mish-mash of cultures/settings; knights with cool armors and cooler swords; character development; plot twists.
High fantasy set in a continent ravaged by storms, it follows the story of multiple characters as they try to survive and win a war between that has been going on for more than 10 years. Filled with astounding descriptions, fantastic characters - from both factions - and an extremely sophisticated magic system, if you like originality and brooding characters this is what you want to read. If you don’t like long books, this might not be your cup of tea; each is well over a thousand pages!
The series is currently on going, with a total of ten books planned.
Dune series by Frank Herbert
Read this if you like: Iron Gold; The Raa’s plot line; The Rim; Virginia; Diomedes; Playing with human psyche; desert/arid setting; cool character design.
Dune a very big name in the sci-fi genre, and Pierce himself has admitted this series was a huge inspiration for his works. Paul Atreides is the heir to the mighty House Atreides, prophesied since his childhood to be destined to great deeds. When he is sent on a remote planet to gather the melange - a drug that extends life and enhances mental abilities - he confronts with the burden of power and fear. If you don’t like old school books, beware: the cast is super white and super straight.
The original ‘series’ is composed of the books above. Herbert‘s son has been publishing, in recent years, other works set in the same world his father created.
The Expanse by James S. A. Corey
Read this if you like: aliens; action packed plot; multiple plot lines; deep space exploration; giant starships; long book series; lgbtq+ being a norm.
Of this massive book series - nine by the current count - The Expanse is a very influent and well loved series; there’s even a very good series based on the books on Amazon prime! Men has expanded through the stars, but everything changed when a sentient alien virus attacks humanity and threatens its very survival. If you love deep space and high tension, go for this one! If you don’t like long book series with a several long time skips, maybe don’t!
Night’s Dawn by Peter F. Hamilton
Read this if you like: Morning Star; hallucinating drugs; extremely big interplanetary empires; Carved animals; that very sense of decadence permeating from Golds; mind twisting plot twists; Tactus&Roque I guess?
Another oldish sci-fi, this time coming from 1997. Night’s Dawn is truly a tale of how humanity can cause its own downfall. Does that ring any bell to you? Men has spread through the galaxy, but an ancient enemy believed extinct makes a pact with a human to destroy the rest the Society. Once again, if you don’t like long books, Night’s Dawn is not your ideal choices, as each book is over one thousand pages.
The Craft Sequence by Max Gladstone
Read this if you like: terrorist warlords; chaotic neutral alignment chart; Ephraim; Lyra; Volga; corrupted society; detective story; cool lesbian ladies; murder mysteries.
A fantasy detective story (at least the first book) in a world with living gods and powerful sects of priests. If like chaotic, funny characters with dark humor undertones, Craft Sequence has finally manifested for your delight. If you are a fanatic of chronological order, you are going to get mad at this series, as the inner-chronology is completely different from the publication order!
Machineries of Empire by Yoon Ha Lee
Read this if you like: Roque; Darrow; Orion; Fleet battles; action; segmented society; unlikely allies; cool space ships; diverse cast; mathematics (not joking).
A fallen-out-of-grace Captain has to regain her honor by winning over one the most impenetrable fortresses in the whole galaxy. Space battles, strategy and calculations are the key to winning. But can she really, when she implants in her nervous system the conscience of a long dead murderous General? Tension is what you get. If you don’t like heavy handed strategy planning, you might find Lee’s series a bit too much.
This is the end of my list! If you have any more additions, please share them!

Move in together. Problem solved
That witch hasn’t said a single word but im calling it now - Himbo.
Also yes move in together, platonically or romantically doesn’t matter, I’d watch the hell out of that wlw mlm solidarity fantasy sitcom anyway.
A fair maiden knocks on the goth lady’s door and says she’s here to find love.
The goth sighs, points across the road and says, “Witch is over there. He doesn’t do love potions because consent but he might be able to make you prettier, although 90% of the time it turns out the spell didn’t do anything but make you more confident.”
The maiden blushes and sheepishly explains that she knows he’s the witch, she just talked to him and he sent her over here.
Goth looks over her shoulder to see the himbo witch standing outside his house giving her a grin and a double thumbs up.
YES TO ALL OF THIS
