Ingredients: 1 lb jumbo lump crab meat. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper. 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley. 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning. 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs. Salt and pepper to taste. Slider buns. Butter lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Remoulade sauce optional.
Instructions: In a large bowl, gently mix together crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, red bell pepper, green onion, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and panko breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Form the mixture into small patties, about the size of your slider buns. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the crab cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through. Toast the slider buns in the skillet until lightly golden. Assemble sliders by placing a butter lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on the bottom bun, then adding a crab cake patty and topping with remoulade sauce if desired. Cover with the top bun and secure with a toothpick. Serve hot and enjoy!
