So she’s American reporter. She was in the news always when something very bad happened in Doctor Who world: she was in episodes Aliens of London/World War Three, Christmas Invasion, series 4 finale, EoT. She was in 8 episodes (and more in SJA and Torchwood) at all. Not much, yeah? What is several short scenes in 8 episode during 5 years of tv show?

But Russelt T Davies CARED about her. There is over 3 minutes decicaded to her in EoT, part one Confidential. THREE MINUTES. And Tenth Doctor was suppoused to meet her. This scenes was eventually cut from the script but RTD CARED ABOUT ONE AMERICAN REPORTER TO MENTION HER IN THIS COFIDENTIAL AND SAID HE WAS SAD THIS SCENE GOT CUT!

And this is reason why am I so angry right now. Because guess in how many episodes she appeared in Moffat’s era?

ZERO.

I know it’s only little detail, most of people probably don’tt even remember her name but this is one of the reasons I prefer RTD’s Doctor Who.

Because maybe we didn’t have big Hollywood like finale, with dozens spaceship in the sky or fantastical scenes with train going to The Great Pyramid and all events happening at once or girl living throught timeline of all Doctors.

This was SO FITTING, post-pandemic and general political chaos --this all seemed so very fitting to watch on December 9th 2023.

First a journalist at AMNN, she became a news reference in the Whoniverse. One of her well-known phrases is "America is crisis".

You know that time when all the planets appeared and RTD traumatized us all?... sure you must remember.

In 2023 she has her own show and apparently her own agenda. Or maybe she's just being affected by that thing that happens in this special.

i never came out to my parents because my parents never assumed i was cishet.

i never did an "am i gay?" quiz because i knew the answer didn't matter, really.

i never "found out" about trans people, my parent has identified as gender neutral my entire life.

i never cried or even felt any big emotions when i found out i was queer. it was just like huh. cool.

my point here is not that i'm sad about having grown up in a queer-friendly enviroment. my point is that the fact that i don't relate to queer experiences as a queer person might imply that we still define queerness based on suffering.

Do questioning Klingons ever show their crush their poetry, only to have their crush assume that he’s helping them proofread or something?

Is there ever an issue where a lesbian Klingon tries very awkwardly to recite poetry to her lady love? 

Or instances where two lesbians are basically beating the shit out of each other and both thinking “I know she thinks this is just a regular old gal fight, but no, seriously, I’m trying to declare my intentions here”?
