If Suho were to lash out at Sieun, it’d be protective — “You shouldn’t have done that.” — Sieun’s response would be to absorb it: quiet guilt, lowered eyes. He’d let Suho’s words wash over him like punishment he deserves. If he fought back, it would only be to deny being cared for: “You don’t need to worry about me.” Suho would apologize first. Sieun would forgive easily, but never fully forget; he’d store the moment as proof that he’s difficult to love.

Seongje’s anger, by contrast, is performative — sharp, emotional. Sieun would meet it head-on, mocking, provoking: “You’re really doing this now?” They’d argue until someone’s voice broke. Somehow, this is intimacy for them — an argument as a form of truth-telling neither could express softly. Afterwards, they’d cool down not through words but through proximity: sitting side by side, bruised, silent. Neither apologizes. The forgiveness is in the staying.

If Sieun were the one hurt, Suho’s response would be practical tenderness. He’d kneel, check wounds, demand honesty. Sieun’s instinct would be to hide it: “It’s not serious.” He wouldn’t want to worry Suho; the act of being cared for makes him anxious. Suho would push back with quiet insistence — “Let me help.” That small insistence would become a balm: care as consistency. Sieun would feel warmth, then shame for needing it. Still, he’d let it happen — a subtle act of surrender.

Seongje, by contrast, would react like a bomb: “Who did this?” Sieun’s instinct would be to stop him. “It’s not worth it.” He’d grab Seongje’s wrist mid-stride — a rare physical plea. Seongje would defy him: “You don’t get to decide that.” This would trigger a raw argument about agency, vengeance, and love. And yet, Sieun would feel a paradoxical relief — someone is angry for him. It’s messy, but validating.

If Sieun and Suho were to have a moral disagreement, Sieun would defer. Suho’s moral compass is steady, and Sieun respects it. Even when he disagrees, he listens. If Suho says, “Don’t go that far,” Sieun hesitates — not from fear of disapproval, but from trust in Suho’s judgment. Their conflicts resolve quietly, through reasoning and compromise.

With Seongje, Sieun would refuse to yield. Their moral arguments are the pulse of their relationship — shouting matches that bleed into laughter. Each sees the other’s flaws as proof of aliveness: Seongje calls him hypocritical for condemning violence; Sieun calls him pathetic for mistaking rage for strength. They never reach full agreement, but they reach understanding. The fight itself becomes the bridge.

In a situation where Sieun and Suho are alone and calm, silence would dominate — but it’s a warm silence. Shared space: one reading, one half-asleep. No tension. Small gestures — pouring tea, passing notes, a glance — carry all the intimacy they need. If Sieun smiles, it’s soft, private. He doesn’t need to speak to be understood.
