In this blog I post mostly WoC/Planes material as well as some thoughts, art, ocs, and other interesting things.

I have a habit of changing the looks of my blog quite a bit to match the season/ Holiday so beware. Don't spook fren it's fine.

I'm also very very passionate about geology, and I love tag/ask games so there's probably gonna be plenty of both.

This blog is not dedicated to explicit material, but there may be some occasional spicy stuff.

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it

but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.

This deadass took me like five hours in total I THINK, if not more, but I locked in so hard yesterday and today that I barely felt it lmao

I used Clip Studio Paint's 3D models and did some shading, I got fancy with this one. Everything for my sweet, sweet boys.

Let's not talk about how not-detailed that table and chairs are, focus on the cute gays.

That tickles drawing is literally so adorable I almost died 3 times drawing it. I am a firm believer that Dusty and Blade are total silly goofballs behind closed doors and no one will change my mind.

Fyi I've never been more proud of a drawing in my life I think, so... Please let this post not flop T_T
