Shoutout to a cool fic!

I recently stumbled upon this fic by @blogofsara (storyofsara on AO3)! I really liked it, I left a comment and the author messaged me on Tumblr. We talked a bit and she asked me to share this fic, and I agreed since she’s a very nice person and I believe that sharing fics you enjoyed with others is the right thing to do! Especially in our tiny Planes fandom! :3

The fic has a really interesting dynamic between Dusty and Skipper that I honestly didn't know I needed to see but now I just want MORE of it! They always had that grandpa-grandson relationship to me, but making them be actually adoptive family is a take I don’t think I’ve seen in this fandom, and it’s very refreshing ngl. I love seeing everyone’s different takes on humanizing the Planes movies, because at times certain things can be hard to replicate in a humanized setting.

Also, I appreciate that the author is aiming for this piece to be more mature than the original movie, which I absolutely ADORE! It would be cool if the fic got more recognition so I'm sharing it here!
