For years I felt like if showed any femininity people would take me less serious as a man because of my sex assigned at birth. I felt like I had to do a performance so that I would be respected as my gender. I'm still working out how much was imposed on me by standards passed onto me by my family, and what was me coping with dysphora by leaning into dude bro standards. Lots of internalized transpobia, lots of repressing my feelings. Trying to unlearn it is both freeing and absolutely terrifying.
I'm going to try to keep this up. Sorry that I keep taking comics down. Didn't take out any pannels this time.
I don't know why I think of it like this way. I look down think of a field of wheat or something that I am growing on my arms. New hairs have sprouted as fast as it takes seeds to germinate. Rise little seedlings, rise!

I don't think I'll ever go back to regularly wearing a pronoun pin because I have completely socially transitioned at this point and don't see it as necessary anymore. I salute any one who does wear one though.

When I was newly out, I would often wear a pronoun pin. I wanted everyone to finally know who I really was
But over time I wanted to blend in more as a trans person.
Pronoun pins felt like I was allowing strangers to know too much about myself
I had got past the initial high of coming out and I must admit….
… I was beginning to feel some negatives of being trans in society…
…I didn't want to be loudly queer anymore
But it's still a special treat when I do find people who are that visible, and do wear pronoun pins
I feel safe around them, and I know they won't judge my queerness

Besides from the fantasy look, I want to start getting into historical costume. I've always wanted to look like a revolutionary soldier, which is why I was talking to the reenactor at the museum I was volunteering at. The guy was nice enough to tell me how he made his clothes by hand ( very impressive) and gave me a few tips for me to get started. New hobby acquired!
I've been going back and forth on if I should post this or not for a while. I'm afraid of fear mongering but transphobia in this country is kinda scaring me. It really makes me sad.
I don't know if I ever posted this one because at the time terfs were in my inbox telling me that I some poor thing needing to be saved. Then I stopped posting here for a while and they went away so, here is a remake of something I made a while ago ( the one about the two boxes).
I think I was also hesitant to post this because it shows me being stupid and practicing unsafe binding, but that is something i legitimately did in high school (late middle school?).
Anyways peacocks have always made me think of that textbook. I kinda linked gender dysphoria to the peacock example due to them being used to separate the sexes. Now I see the peacock as what I am, a beautiful man. Imma embrace it.
