the sheer tragedy of obi wan telling luke he needs to either kill his father or let the galaxy be enslaved forever is something we need to deny or skirt around. we need obi wan not to believe that. we need him not to have said that. we need luke to have both not heard and not disobeyed that. we cant sit with a narrative of biblical forgiveness. everything the good guy says needs to be correct with cited wookiepedia sources and everything the bad guy says is irrelevant. we need to do this. because having even a slightly critical take on a fictional religion is of course, how we get genocide. we have to obey and defend the fictional religion forever. see how boring you all are? see why you’re not fun to talk to???

Trixie obviously is super boastful & self aggrandizing thats like the whole point of her character but i love how she first shows up and everyone is like "hmph! who does she think she is? getting on stage and showing off her magic right in the middle of town for everyone to hear!" well yeah man its a show

If you every think the death of an animal is funny or worthy of celebration, then you are automatically not okay in my book. The same goes if you don't try to avoid hitting animals on the road or if you go out of your way to kill an animal. Yes, this includes spiders, wasps, house centipedes, and mosquitoes. No, it doesn't matter if you're afraid of them. You can be afraid of things without wishing death on them.

I would definitely remember Cowboy Bebop more fondly if "Hard Luck Woman" were the final episode. That would earn it a spot as one of my favorite endings of a TV show. But as it stands, it's just a pretty good space western that I sadly don't like as much as I like Firefly. Seriously, "Hard Luck Woman" was such a good episode, and it would have been an amazing finale. But no, we had to let Spike see Julia again (which, in my opinion, was a horrible choice for his character).
