Welcome! My name's Roonie (she/her), and this is my mess of an art blog! I post rather sporadically depending on my current hyperfixation. Currently I'm very actively posting Happy Tree Friends stuff with some bits of Sonic stuff interspersed here and there, but be warned that I may sometimes disappear for a while! I'm at the whims of my autism I'm afraid :')
FAIR WARNING - I do often draw characters injured and/or bloody, including on one of the banners below the cut. These instances will be tagged as #tw injury and #tw blood accordingly, but it's still something to be aware of.

Premise - Espio, a young noble, finds his palace life stifling. He's grateful for his station in life, he really is, but he wishes he could just choose what he wants for himself. And so, he does the only logical thing - he sneaks out. He's always caught and hauled back fairly swiftly... But seeing the beauty of a world he is free to explore on his own is worth every second of the scolding he gets from that grouchy new knight he keeps getting sent his way.
Premise - Fankids galore! Sonic and Knuckles have a daughter who neither of them are ready for, throwing their entire friend group into decades of drama over it. At least Pitaya has her aunts and uncles to rely on, and the various other kids to dote on in the years to come.

Out of the Sonic characters, I think I'd go with Shadow! He's by far the easiest of the hedgehogs to get looking right, and also I get to add in the cute little grumpy kitty scrunchy nose thing I make him do all the time. Silver is up there too, but i do often and regularly get in fights with his stupid hair LMAO,,,,
As for the HTF characters, it's easily Nutty. I just like drawing his super over exaggerated expressions and poses. PLUS ☝️ his big fluffy tail
HUMAN DESIGNS BAYBEEEEE!!!! They took forever, but I'm really happy w how they turned out :'D There's a version where they have their canon hair/fur colours, and a version where I picked out some more realistic human hair colours for them! Enjoy!

Hey, I got a question. If you acknowledge that Sonic is 35 in one of your pictures, how come Tails is still being called a kid when he's 32? He was 4 when Sonic was 7.
That would be because those posts are in the context of different AUs! By default, I depict Sonic as being around 15 years old, but he (and everyone else) is aged up in the Dadow AU and Pitayaverse. The post where I specifically refer to him as being 35 was related to the Dadow AU. Tails would be around 28 in that AU and would probably only still be referred to as 'kid' by Sonic and maybe Knuckles
