mane 6 but office yes
During this year, Blacktooth felt that the rest of the community had begun to watch him rather closely, and he sensed a change. Whether the change was really in the attitudes of others, or entirely within himself, its effect was loneliness. Occasionally he felt estranged. In choir, he choked on the words "One bread and one body, though many, are we." His unity with the congregation seemed no longer taken for granted. He had spoken the words "I want out," perhaps before he really meant them; but not only had he uttered such a thing to the abbot, he had allowed his friends to learn of the incident. Among the professed, among those who by solemn vows had committed themselves irrevocably to God and the Way of the Order, a monk with regret was an anomaly, a source of unease, a portent, a thing in need of pity. Some avoided him. Some looked at him strangely. Others were all too kind.

I don't know what you guys are on about. The Rise of Skywalker was a good movie.
The scene with Han and Ben Solo literally made me cry. Ben tells his father the same thing he told him before killing him—"I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it."—and he remembers his father stepping forward and putting his hand on his cheek, just like in The Force Awakens. Desperate to make up for his mistakes, Ben chucks his lightsaber away and whips back around, hoping that he somehow made it right.
But his dad is still gone.
I got emotional elsewhere, but wow is Ben Solo such a compelling character. And Adam Driver does so well as him.
Today, my spouse decided that, each time a commercial came on the TV, they would mute and real-time dub over it. This led to us watching a grocery commercial with them chanting "CHEESE. CHEESE. CHEESE." at the TV.
The Rise of Skywalker had two parts that almost made me cry, but the harder of the two was when Wedge Antilles showed up to help at Exegol. He was aboard the Falcon, and they showed up to the turn the tide just as things looked like they had turned for the worst.
Just after Snap Wexley had died.
And that broke my heart. Wedge was part of the group who saved the lives of the Resistance fighters, but he showed up mere moments too late to save his son.
The other part was as the First Order crumbled. We get to see hear everyone happy that Rey was alive, we get to see C-3PO anxiously watching the console for news, and then we get this:
Thirty-one years ago, Wicket had stood in this exact spot on Endor's forest moon, rejoicing in the destruction of the Death Star. He'd been such a cub then, his fur still a youthful brown. Debris had rained down in the sky for a decade afterward, but life on Endor would never go quietly, and the moon fought back with lush verdancy. Then the First Order had come. Wicket pointed toward the sky as a chunk of Star Destroyer fell like a fiery comet. "See that?" he said to his tiny son, Pommet, in Ewokese. "Our friends did that." "Princess Leia?" Pommet asked wide-eyed, for he'd learned all the stories. "See-Threepio?" Wicket nodded. "See-Threepio," he agreed. He had no doubt the golden, godlike one was responsible for yet another deliverance. "Come, he said, leading his son back toward the village. "There will be feasting and fireworks tonight."
Boba Fett's ship, the Slave I, appeared like a projectile from a slingshot snapping out of hyperspace. IG-88C put all his weapons on alert, all his sensors on standby, then rocketed his needle ship to confront the bounty hunter. Thinking he had destroyed IG-88 in the garbage levels of cloud city, Boba Fett would be astonished to see the assassin droid again. Logically, IG-88 expected the biological to request further information, to challenge the intruder. Once Fett understood the new situation, he would be forced to bargain with the superior assassin droid, if not surrender utterly. But Boba Fett reacted with remarkable speed. Without a word or a second of hesitation, the bounty hunter launched every sort of weapon and peeled off in a slick corkscrew maneuver that took him out of the IG-2000's firing path. The Slave I's weapon bolts struck home all at once, pummeling the heavily armored IG-2000. With a certain measure of embarrassment and shame, IG-88C uploaded his files and sent them to his counterpart an instant before his ship exploded over Tatooine. ...

At his supervisory station Kalebb Orn sat up, surprised and confused. He was ostensibly there to take action in case anything unusual happened—but nothing unusual had ever occurred before, and he wasn't sure what to do.

Finally deleted my Reddit account. The One Ring has been tossed into the fires of Mount Doom.
