... went to the doctor today, had to see a different doctor than my regular one because she's on leave this year. I was there for my yearly checkup. This new doctor focused heavily on my weight, talked about the health risk correlations of high body weight (absolutely nothing new), weighed me and told me in very serious tones that I'm obese, and that they can give me medications or treatment or refer me to a clinic. She brought this up with no other data about me than my bmi and my blood pressure (normal and unchanged from last year, even despite me having very high anxiety during the measuring). Her overall demeanor was what I would call stern and haughty, although my mental state probably affects this impression. I felt overwhelmed and shameful, struggled to talk, only managed to communicate that I don't have any health issues that I'm aware of, nothing that ails me, and that unless there's a case for medical intervention beyond just my size I'm not interested in weight loss treatment. I had a major panic attack in my car afterwards, cried for almost an hour, eventually took a very light sedative and managed to sleep some. It's hard to express just how much of an effect this stuff has. And I've heard of much worse doctor's office experiences. This lady was never deeply unprofessional, she checked in with me and honored my request not to tell me what I weigh (numbers like that tend to trigger compulsive behavior for me). I'm sure she thought herself helpful and even friendly, even if she was clearly not the gentle soft-spoken type. I have health anxiety, and so it costs a lot mentally to even go to the doctor. I work hard constantly to deal with the fear of things going wrong in my body and life turning upside-down. By all means - if my tests show anything concerning that warrants treatment, lifestyle changes, etc, of course I will do what I need to do to take care of myself! The reason I get checkups every year is precisely to stay on top of my health markers and make adjustments if necessary! But she speedran all of that and decided it was best I start worrying right away. For the past hours I've been struggling hard with thoughts of self-harm, and stimming intensely. I feel a desperate desire to be acceptable. I crave the nods of approval given to fat people who pursue weight loss. I crave the safety and security I imagine thin people feel. I picture going to the doctor as a thin woman, getting diagnosed with something and being met with compassion. Sick because I'm unfortunate, like all people can be. Not because I'm fat and any ailment is an extension of my wretched fat soul, a curse I brought upon myself. Isn't that messed up? I feel like I'd be safer, better off, in a sick thin body than in a healthy fat one. And a lot of people think that's actually how it works. I don't, but that's how it feels right now. I'd be absolved. I'd be righteous. I feel less-than, useless, unworthy of love, unworthy of joy, unworthy of food, unworthy of life. Every shitty emotion I try to use this blog to lessen in other fat people. Maybe I shouldn't post this then, but I really needed to write it out, and possibly connect with others who know what it's like. It's a bad day. Maybe tomorrow will be better. If you're feeling like shit: I love you.

βYouβll let me know when Iβm getting too fat though, wonβt you?β
I ask, prodding the newly formed pudge around my midsection.
βOf course, of course. I love that youβre gaining weight for me but Iβll help you put the breaks on before things get too out of hand. Iβd just love to see you a little chubby is all. More to grab.β
How could I say no to that? Getting to eat more without worrying while youβre becoming even more attracted to me? Sure Iβm not a huge fan of the little outline my belly is forming in my shirts, but itβs not like Iβm fat or out of shape or anything. Nothing to worry about.

βBreakfasts is served!β
I come to groggily, awakening to the sweet scent of your cooking coming through the door. Breakfast in bed was quickly one of my favourite parts of letting go for you, but even still it was becoming a little much. It was perfect when you were bringing bacon eggs and pancakes, but now with the waffles on top Iβm stuffed every single morning. Even more concerning are the βmilkshakesβ. Theyβre delicious but theyβre the thickest milkshakes Iβve ever had.
Not that you mind, clearly. Youβve been ecstatic with how much weight Iβve put on. We still donβt have a scale so I canβt even tell but none of my clothes fit anymore, not even the stretchy ones, so I think itβs nearing time to slow down. I can barely see my feet anymore with how far my belly sticks out.
And I donβt mind the teasing, I know itβs part of what gets you off about this whole thing, but buying me a bra for my βnew pair of titsβ went a little beyond playful ribbing. Itβs starting to get hurtful now, especially since this was all your idea.
- - -
We finally got a scale. I canβt believe you. How could you let this go so far? 107lbs I put on, all because of you and your pampering and your begging.
βPlease baby, just a few moreβ
βI know these are your favourites baby, what harm can they doβ
And now I donβt even get the luxury of those niceties. I guess you figure Iβm not going to turn back anymore? That Iβm too far gone? So now you can get off however you want.
The first time you called me your βpiggyβ, I was taken aback, but I thought youβd cut it out when I told you to stop. But the humiliation makes it all the better for you doesnβt it?
Grabbing my rolls and shaking them to watch my whole body jiggle. Calling me βlard ballβ when Iβm struggling to roll myself out of bed. Slapping my βbehemothβ ass whenever you force me to waddle for my own food so I can stuff myself to satisfy the massive appetite you nurtured for me.
So this is where it stops, the gaining, the humiliation, all of it.
What are you doing with that funnel?

thank you. there are so many days when I need this message and today was one.
the way ozempic has finally made the fact that eating healthy and exercising doesn't necessarily make you thin well known and society's reaction to this is not "oh i guess being thin or fat doesn't actually show if you're healthy" but "oh i guess everyone should be on this drug"
For years I've seen people say "I'm not against fat people, I just want to make sure they're healthy and safe!" And the moment ozempic comes around and doesn't apply within that justification no one says it anymore because they never cared about fat people to begin with, they just didn't like seeing them.
he is extremely pleased that he has gained weight (because it means he has gotten bigger, which is one of his life goals)
Having such a great time museums and hugs @faloverbabe ππΌ
Goals
Goalss indeed
i know a lot of you are hardcore "obesity is going to kill you" truthers, and im not gonna convince u otherwise, but i hope u know that medical neglect bc doctors refuse to consider anything other than our weight is a real contributor to our poor outcomes

They say the right woman will make you twice the man, and you know an FFA would.
Every time I fly, I am reminded that planes are really not built for fat people. Like even my hips are almost taking up the whole seat here. Like I only have an inch of space for wiggle room. This feels crazy to me. But alas, the world sucks and is mean to hot people.
