Already the memory of how these things felt is fast fading. The goodness in my heart has been scorched, and the soil of gentleness beneath sewn with salt such that nothing may ever grow there again. The wings of my spirit are amputated and the stumps burnt. I thought I knew horror and pain before I saw this. I was a naive child. It is taking all my self-control to continue to type these words rather than flinging myself through the nearest window and unburdening my skull of the brains inside, putting them to better use as slop upon the pavement. What worth is a mind that carries such dire knowledge? What worth am I? This fish-looking bastard fuck man and his mermaid pussy have stripped me to the bone. I have nothing to offer anyone. I’m a nurse. It is so frustrating to see people out and enjoying their time on the beach and whatnot, when I want to stay home. I dont want this. I see first hand what it does. Please. Stay home. Protect us because we cant protect ourselves by staying home.

I work at a hospital and I stay home due to the fact I assume I’ve been exposed. If I can help it I have my groceries delivered to my house. I haven’t seen family or friends in a while. I miss them. I really miss my fiancé. Please stay home and quarantine.

RN here, week three of dealing with COVID19 patients. Everyone is starting to have breakdowns and crying fits regularly in the halls, even the 50 year old doctors who’ve been practicing for decades. Nothing we are doing is working. It feels like everyone is dying. Please stay home. We can’t take this stress.
